 It will be announced in the 14th issue of Young Animal magazine, released on July 10, that Berserk will resume its serialization after a ten month hiatus. The series will release new chapters on a monthly basis with the next chapter published in the 15th issue, released on July 24.Berserk is written and illustrated by Kentarou Miura and has been serialized in magazine Young Animal since August 1989. It has been on an irregular hiatus since it resumed on April 2014, with the recent hiatus in September. It's been six years, s-i-x freaking years. Probably the longest hiatus ever after Bastard's 8 (10?) years of hiatus. Last I checked, the author isn't (severely) ill since 2010, she just lost interest. We Actually dont Know how sick she is So her taking that long of a Haitus might be something out of her control so I dont think you should jump to conclusion and say that she lost interest. |

| I can honestly see Berserk never being finished (which is unfortunate since that feeling is what's led to my lack of interest in really pursuing reading it) but guess this is good news. Will see how long it lasts. |
