| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Another manga-only story that makes me extremely upset that Kekkai Sensen only got a one cour adaptation (I guess there's still a possibility of a second cour being announced but I doubt it & that may open up some issues). Anyway, the chapter itself focused on Gilbert, a character whose design instantly interested me & Lenore, a new combat butler sent to help him out. This was definitely one of the strongest chapters so far, I really enjoyed the insight giving to Gilbert & just how much of a bad-ass he was but I liked various of little moments even more. The highlight of this chapter for me may just have been Leo's "fake wallet" bluff. The only complaint I have, & this may be more on me than Nightow, was that it was sometimes hard to discern how the action sequence played out from panel to panel at the end. I was still able to follow the road but it was definitely the most foggy it's been. |
