Sakuragi is probably gonna get a nasty infection from that beating o_0

I did like how some of them were there unfairly while others actually did do a lot of crimes. I'm sure that'll come into play later.

First episode thoughts:

I thought this was a pretty interesting first episode. I do admit that this episode made me highly uncomfortable with its content. (I really hate torture/beatings scenes. They make my stomach turn), but it does give a good realism aspect to what prison life is actually like. But, at the same time, I really dislike the explicit scenes---especially because this show does have sexual content (according anime planet and spoilers I've read on a couple characters). I think it will be a good story and it does seem to have a cast of interesting characters. I really want to know more about them, and I hope there is episodes centered on their backstories.

Ugh, I HATE the doctor(he sickens me.) and the guard guy. The guard needs some chapstick, seriously. Also, what's with that little bitch throwing her doll out the window? Bruh, what if your grandma made that doll for you? or your mom paid a lot of money for that doll?

I'll watch the second ep tomorrow. I've honestly never felt so disturbed by anime before. Well, I do love prison shows/movies, but I hate when they get too deep into it. Mostly because I can't personally stomach the abuse they go through. And it really saddens me a lot, I feel really bad.

I feel the same swift, I don't think I've ever watched something so overly intense in an anime before. Most of the shows I normally watch have a light edge so this one was like a slap in the face.

I think the doctor is a pedophile :<

I'll get to the second episode by sometime tomorrow, I don't think I'll be able to handle more than one a day.

Yeah, I'm probably going to watch the 2nd one tomorrow, too.

I really hope there isn't an explicit rape scene. That would make feel really uncomfortable, and it's too much if they show any of it. I'd rather have it implied than showing it. Like, AHS has had explicit rape scenes in three of their seasons (Freakshow didn't have any). And I was super uncomfortable watching it o.e

Nice episode. No explicit content except for a 3 second one. I felt really bad for Joe and the sexual abuse he went through the orphanage. It was also nice to see a glimpse of Turtle's past, too.

Oh also. I read that the author got sent to a youth prison in the 50's and this is some of his experiences.

yeah tbh. in fact old prison life just about anywhere sounds pretty terrible.

Good episode. It was interesting to know a little bit of Undercovered/glasses guy's past. Felt pretty bad for his mom and he must have been scarred for life after witnessing that. Also, him starting the fire by accident makes things more interesting. It seems like the guard really has it out for Sakuragi. Hopefully Sakuragi gets to the guys soon >.<

ikr? I think it's because Sakuragi doesn't give in to Ishigara and his sadistic ways.

Ep 4:
Nice ep. It was great that Undercovered helped his friends and Sakuragi punched the guard's lights out.

Ep 5:
Good ep. I felt really bad for Mario and Sakuragi! Ow, mario's hand DX and that scummy guard is trying to get Sakuragi killed every chance he gets. And we see the doctor's true intentions on convincing prisoners to have sex with him, ugh he's so disgusting!

It seems like sexual acts will be a major factor in this show, I'm just glad we didn't see any more than we absolutely had to to get the point. Poor Joe and Meg, every adult in this show is just so scummy.

Uncovered's arc was a lot better than I thought it would be. Had a lot of emotional moments and cleared up some things with Sakuragi's past. I don't remember if they said why he was there exactly tho...

We get to learn a bit about Sakuragi's prison life and his friend. I felt so bad for Hagino :( He just wanted to see his mother, and he was being used by Dr. Sasaki for his sexual pleasures. Ugh, someone needs to kill Ishigara and Sasaki. They're worst than scum. And it seems that Dr. Sasaki has his eyes on Joe D:

Seems like Joe went back to the school, but is not taking shit from Ishigara or the doctor. Poor Mario :C he really got beat bad in that boxing match. Lol, Turtle made me laugh when he said he didn't have money for the bus home xD

Slowly making my way through the series. Boy were these hard to get through.

Ishigara is such a scum bag of everything that's wrong with humanity. I hate him and the doctor so much.

I'm super worried about Mario's hand D: Plus what will happen to the rest of the boys when they catch them taking food to Sakuragi.

Ikr! I think it has to do with so many popular shows coming out in 2010 and others probably didn't want to bother with a prison show, or the first episode turned people away. But this show needs more fans.
