Just simply the newly revealed information as it is announced from publishers, magazines, and industry leaders. Examples of acceptable news: -On July 10th is the first episode of "Anime A". It will air on Tokyo MX and 10 other stations -Director Mizushima begins work on his "next original series" -Funimation acquired the rights to "Anime B" and it will be streamed by Funimation Unacceptable news: -I read somewhere that Season 3 of "Anime C" is next year. True or not? -BloggerAnime101's Top 10 Anime series of All Time! -Director Tanaka voices his concern about the industry during interview ( Note: Opinion pieces like this are important, but should be regulated to a different thread ) Try to follow the above examples and these rules. Do note that often the poster may post his thoughts or joke about the news article. But that is irrelevant to the actual news and does not reflect the opinion of the club, the fan base, or any one else except the poster. 2. Post only about anime and manga news. Unrelated articles to video games, pop culture, non-anime movies, and other similar articles will not be allowed for the time being. We may make a section for those articles at another. But so far, keep it about anime and manga coming from Japan, English dubs of various anime, or events relating to certain staff or industry leaders like a voice actor passing away or an animation studio going through bankruptcy. Trailers, Promotional Videos, and Teasers should be posted in the "Trailers and Promotional Video" Thread 3. Stay on topic. Do not talk about anything else except the news article themselves. We do not want to spam the thread with irrelevant posts. |
