| In fact, I thought it was really refreshing to have one episode entirely centered around Guruu. Past episodes have been a bit excessive with loli fanservice and the kind of fanservice that Aria Grassman offers. So this kind of balances it out. I thought it was great that they depicted the operation as well as the control panel of a Japanese toilet. This was a first in anime for me. What was with the crazy white/yellow striped camouflage on the tank in the closing credits? I wonder whether that is a real thing. So hard to believe just two more episodes to go. It would be nice to see a second season. However, there are only 518 Amazon Stalker points at the moment for the Blu-ray which goes on sale on March 20th. Besides that, they already discounted the BD's price by 26%. So I am guessing that this series didn't attract quite as large an audience as they had hoped. I have a bit of a hangup about male fanservice. That is my own issue to sort out. In any case, the way it was done in this episode seemed tasteful to me and not gratuitous. After all, if you do it with your clothing on, you create a big mess for mommy or daddy to clean up later. Speaking of Japanese toilets, there is a recent phenomenon of toilet tourism where people take vacations in Japan from China just to buy a Japanese style toilet and then ship it back home to China. http://www.cnbc.com/id/102474926 |

| So much masochism this episode. That house is certainly the masochists paradise. And it seems in some countries people don't know what a washlet is. Well they are rare here in Europe, some places have a bidet but even those aren't very common. Tho they seem very useful. |
| Thanks. I had never heard the word "washlet" until you mentioned it just now, and I certainly didn't know what it means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washlet I have never used one. From personal experience, I know that it is a fun challenge to use their more traditional style of toilet. |

| Two hours ago, a Tweet came out from the official Twitter account for the series. I am not so confident in translating it. However, what it appears to mean is that the TV broadcast version of Episode 10 is different from the webcast version. The Tweet says, "See for yourself." and then provides this link: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1426497191 I am not able to view that video in my country. If I was the boss of some local TV station, I could imagine a few things that I might want to alter before airing Episode 10. For example, I would add so much steam to the scene of Guruu on the toilet so that it was nothing but a white screen. |
