THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------

This was a pretty positive episode, aside from the short encounter with those bullying drunkards. Remi got a pocket watch, a free map and he met Mattia again which was great. And it seems like they'll be traveling together from now on. Things are looking pretty good considering his situation. I hope they'll have some fun on their journey and that this show doesn't fill it with tragedy once again.
I probably regret this post by now.

MATTIA! Great to see him back in the story, that kid is cool as fuck.

I'm digging their relationship, they have good chemistry together.

I'm glad Remi and Mattia teamed up! Their interactions are really charming so I'm glad we'll get to see more of them. I hope we're past most of the tragic stuff by this point, Remi's gone through so much already and I don't want to seem Remi, and now Mattia too, go through any more hardship. By now Remi's got to be 10 or so, Mattia's probably around that age too, it'd just be really nice to see them act their age and enjoy their youth from here on out.

Remi went to say goodbye to the kind man that welcomed him as a son. It was another farewell he had to go through, but he's determined to keep his promise of connecting the siblings so it's nice that he found a hopeless romantic on that newsstand/bookstore's owner and managed to get a free map by mentioning his journey, it wasn't new, but it works.

Also I'm so glad that Mattia is doing as well as he can, I mean, he was sleeping by the sewers, but he was far away from that abuser, and though he had to trick people, he wasn't doing anything worse like stealing. I loved to see him saving the day as he taught a lesson to those damn drunkards and escaped with Remi!

I was sad when he said he didn't want to go on a journey, for a moment I thought the opening was playing tricks on me, but in the end he decided to go together with Remi, I'm really glad for both of them, I'm sure that together with Capi they'll manage to give a good show as traveling entertainers!

I'm also grateful to Sebastian Fontainebleau du Carvalho (lol) because looking together for his mom only made Remi and Mattia more attached to the idea of sticking together, so it was great.

Their little duet before they went to sleep was brief, but beautiful too. I hope they won't have to say goodbye, or if it's unavoidable, I hope that at least it won't be a really painful, abrupt one.
