THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
This episode started out being probably the most fun episode of the whole show so far, but it wouldn't be Ie Naki Ko if there wasn't some impending tragedy right around the corner after fast-pacing through the months of happiness :(. The sudden hail storm was another cruel twist of fate of this show. At this point it almost seems like Remi attracts misery :/.
It seem hard to imagine them recuperating from that loss.
I probably regret this post by now.

Was a really heartwarming episode, it was awesome to see Remi getting a new pair of shoes!

But then again, nature had to come back to fuck Remi's new and happier life again! Fucking outstanding, as expected from Ie Naki Ko xD. I have prepared myself for the impending dangers already.

Huh, they actually got to the hail rather fast. I was hoping for at least a few more merry episodes until the inevitable, but guess they wanted everyone to suffer as soon as possible. It's a weird change from the books where Remi spent

But I guess Dezaki just wanted to get done with the first volume of the novel, because it's already taking up 30 episodes, and there's still a whole another book of stories to tell.

The contrast this episode was quite harsh, since the hail happened right after their happiest hour, or at least when it comes to scenes we are seeing.

"Your sight, my delight. Will you marry me?"

My theory is that it's Remi that is causing misery to people around him. First he caused his poor foster father to have that horrible accident, then he drove Vitalis to his death and now just in few months he manage to make this family collapse. I'm sure when he finally founds his true family it turns out they all have cancer.

Off course a hail storm destroys all the glass panes. This show better have a good ending with all the misery it has been dumping on Remi.

Everything was so wholesome that I wondered how it would all fall apart since misfortune doesn't seem ready to let Remi go.

Thanks to a out of season hail all of the hard work poured into their flowers is gone together with their stability just like that, showing once again how unforgiving life can be and yet again Remi is going to pass through a hard time.

Whenever he go, Remi seemingly can't catch a break. Misery seems always following the boy. When he got his happy life, all of that are speed run all the way. It feels like this show's main appeal is only to watch him suffer as much as possible.

Such a good episode. Haven't had such a feel-good episode in a good while. Though the sudden hail storm at the end really did a good job at reminding us that happiness isn't forever. How the hell will the family get themselves out of this pickle?
