| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Initially I was worried that Jean might be involved with the child kidnapping they mentioned since he's obviously a criminal, but I was relieved when it was revealed that he isn't. Pretty intense episode with Remi getting lost like that in a dangerous environment, but luckily everything turned out well. I wonder if we'll see Jean again at some point. And the visuals are still amazing. Definitely up there with my favorite anime artstyles. |

| I'm glad that the episode wasn't about people kidnapping Remi, and just about him meeting a new friend. Dezaki did make an episode like that in his next show though. |

| So the gang was after Jean because he refused to get invovled in the kidnappings. I hope we get to see him again in the next episodes |
| I'm glad Remi didn't agree in his heart that stealing and performing for a few cents are the same thing, but they are certainly outcasts. I'm also sad he had to witness that stabbing/fighting scene, I hope his good friend managed to escape, he was a thief, yes, but he was as decent as he could be. I was so relieved when Remi managed to get back together with the dogs, Joli Coeur and Vitalis. Also that "you can't buy a new Remi" bit would sound better if he didn't buy him in the first place, but yeah, Remi is all sold out so take good care of him. lol |

| I really this new Jean guy, gives off strong vibes of Joe Yabuki (with him fightingthe thugs too). I hope he'll be a recurring character in this anime. |
