I guess you could call Satoshi Kon's Opus his "puts on sunglasses" magnum opus...... I'll show myself out. |

| And just when you thought it couldn't get any more meta, this chapter comes around! My first impulse was to feel kind of disappointed, much like when finishing Paranoia Agent. But I think it really has a certain charm and it's a bold move to end stories like that. And it's not like it hasn't been thought through at all, it makes sense thematically and gives enough closure I think. |
| I really liked the "true" ending, and the overall concept of this series. Yeah, as a whole this manga wasn't anything that worthwhile, but it at least had that oh so wonderful Satoshi Kon charm. |
| I was getting really worried when I noticed that the manga was almost ending and the story seemed like it was still going but that final extra chapter REALLY did it for me, I never felt SO satisfied yet kinda unsatisfied at the same time, it's really a shame that the story could not have a proper ending but the ending is really fitting with the theme! I'd give this manga a 9. |

| I know it's on MAL's fault for not updating a 20th chapter when it was released but I wish people weren't talking so openly about it in here. After all, it's a different chapter, not 19, and even though the posts at top didn't spoil things directly, I knew what to expect from the vague comments at first before I peaced out. It's also partially on me too for reading past the first post but I'm going to comment on chapter 20 in a spoiler tag. So chapter 19 itself, thank god there was a chapter 20. The chapter itself wasn't bad on it's own, but if this was actually the ending note of the series, it would be devastating. There's no sense of closure at all here, but on it's own, it was good. I liked Lin's comment of "You're getting you're ending after all." As for chapter 20 . . . |
