DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I can't think of any other mangaka who bombards their reader with so much techno babble as Shirow Masamune. I do enjoy how all his techno babble is actually well thought out and interesting, even if it most likely scientifically viable. |
| So, hum... well ! After the disturbing "soul" discussion, I thought I was following what happened until I realized that the light brown haired woman was another appearance of Motoko, who looks like she kept a body with a familiar head while having another one as a prominent enterprise's president? And what is she doing now? Just fighting on her own for what she wants, unless when she does a mission to pay a few services? (seeing Aramaki was a bit of relief in all this) The artwork clearly evolved toward something more thin and a bit less "rough 80s" but it's clearly not looking like its contemporaries. I appreciated the probably computer colorized pages. 3/5 The return of the pseudo-science side notes is fine as it seems slightly less prominent than in the first series. edit March 11, 2017: back at it ! This time , I'll try to put an end to this book (and the collection of short stories too) even though going through this first chapter again made me scratch my head, wondering how I could find it okay to begin with. |

| So Motoko seems to have at least 3 bodies/avatars here, huh. "Motoko Aramaki". The visuals are...interesting. Ain't complaining yet. Liked how different the secretary in the online meetings vs the ecretary in real life is xD |
