Pretty fun stuff overall with the adventure gimmicks. There are some parts that were weird especially in the second half but overall had a good momentum. |

| Dat Attack on Titan reference. Oh, and for those confused by Elly's reference, it's apparently part of a 1960s Japanese buzzword phrase about what all (Japanese) children love - Kyojin (the baseball team Yomiuri Giants), Taihō (the yokozuna Taihō Kōki), tamagoyaki (fried eggs). If you can read Japanese you can find out more about the phrase on the Japanese Wikipedia. Anyway, with the recent sad news about Emi Nitta going on hiatus due to vocal cord problems (considering the character she plays here - a weird case of life imitating art?), I wonder if they've recorded the dialogue for all the episodes. Considering that in Japan the voice-overs are normally done to match the animation and not the other way round, chances are that it hasn't been done for the later episodes and they'll have to find a replacement. |
