| Divine's probably the most evil person in the whole series so far imo. Yusei was able to clear Aki's name. No dragon mark appeared on Aki's back, but it was still a good duel. If Misty comes back, I feel like she and Aki could be good friends. Mystery bird mark appears. Final boss Godwin time? |

| Felt like Divine just came back to take to the blame and hate. At least 5D's achieved this goal, he really was a sick fuck. But I liked the context for this duel and the conclusion a lot. |

| God, once again Mikage got on my last nerve with her shouting for Jack to save her even though Ushio was right there doing his best. It's ridiculous how badly written she is. Also I was a little disappointed that the gimmick of Misty's deck was different this time around compared to the first time she dueled Aki. Her Reptilianne deck deserved better. Divine getting swallowed by Ccarayhua and presumably killed was so gratifying. Rest in piss. Also this is kinda unrelated to the episode itself but I learned recently that the real lizard geoglyph in Peru was ruined a few years ago because they built a freaking road right down the middle of it! What the hell?! Why would they destroy something that's been around for hundreds of years? Why couldn't they have just built a bridge that went over that geoglyph instead of ruining an ancient piece of art? I was so mad when I found that out. |
| Glad that Misty was able to finally find peace. Divine making a bullshit survival of that fall was now worth it to have him be eaten alive by a Lizard God! |

| Trudge managed to break the hatch freeing Mika and Yusei from the flood. Mika also tells Yusei about Misty's missing brother and the leader of the arcadia movement potentially spreading misinformation about what happened when Akiza went rouge in some part of New Domino City. Turns out Mika was right, Yusei confronts that motherfucker Sayer and of course Sayer is still obsessed with using Akiza as a pawn and controlling everything about her. Little does Sayer know that Akiza is through with the arcadia movement while sticking with real friends, just as Yusei said. Sayer is a pathetic evil manipulative idiot, I've never been so angry at an antagonist this much. Sayer's lies caused Misty to become a dark signer, with Sayer using Akiza as a scapegoat and putting the blame on her when it was Sayer who was responsible for Misty's brother. The duel rages on between Misty and Akiza, with Misty bringing out her Earthbound Immortal. Meanwhile, Yusei with smart thinking by secretly pressing a button to broadcast his conversation with Sayer to Misty and Akiza, demanding Sayer to tell the truth about Misty's brother. I was genuinely pumping my fists and saying "YES FINALLY YES MISTY FINALLY KNOWS THAT ITS ALL SAYER'S FAULT", and finally, Misty sends his evil ass to the netherworld, having her Earthbound Immortal lizard EATING HIM, RIP BOZO. Misty breaks free temporarily, apologizes to Akiza, then tries to surrender the duel but the darkness takes over again. With Sayer gone, Yusei wakes Akiza up from her dead daze, restoring her compassionate side. With Black Rose Dragon back from the grave and using its ability, Dark Misty attempts to use a trap to inflict damage for each destroyed card, then Misty's good side shines through the blast telling Akiza to keep fighting alongside the signers and defeat the darkness inside of her, and Akiza uses her own trap to deflect the damage, winning the duel! It's inspiring to see Akiza wishing to make up with Misty's brother, hopefully she can bring back Misty from the netherworld too. W |
