| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Serious development between Ken and Chizuru....It looks like Aka-chan gets jealous over Ken holding Chizuru's hand. Chizuru's deathnote thing is back eating a apple like people said before and did Minatsu take a look at the deathnote book? Don't you die if you do that? Things really got serious in the begining and at the end but how far is to where Chizuru had to go? She took a bus to there....Aka-chan was cute in the red hiding hood dress reading the story. Anyone know what was that manga Minatsu was reading? Looks like Mafuyu is back to her BL things. Who in the world is the Daniel guy with the USA flag....insult to USA for eating like pigs? I will assume that Chizuru used to be a person that liked painting in middle school/her previous school and that girl Kanade threw things that Chizuru gave to her? Absolutely adored Chizuru's old school uniform and Chizuru making a peace sign though it was one until Proselyt told me XD. Also funny how everyone got under the table with just one teacher expression. My favorite was Chizuru's gentle/loving side she can have with Ken and he is so lucky. Ken's head on Chizuru's head....so nice and also the hand shake was great!  Hand shake....Aka-chan is jealous :P => |

| It's sad seeing this show becoming more boring one episode after the other... somehow I just don't really care about anyones backstories (mostly cos they aren't portrayed well). | My eyes are burning from the tl;dr posts present. Anyways, I always enjoy episodes that have minimal contact with Ken, so a yay week for me. I'm just going to take a wild guess and say we won't see Kanade again, but I'd love to see more of her; I like those kinds of girls. |

| This episode had tons of funny moments. I like how the choice of books fit each girl's personality. The Death Note reference was quite obvious and one I could see coming a mile away (though it doesn't make it any less funny). And I'm tempted to think that Ken doesn't really have to try much harder to win over Kurimu. With the jealous fits she's been displaying in the past episodes, I think it's becoming quite clear that she actually likes him, but doesn't want to admit it. Then again, I think that goes for the rest as well; they just do a (slightly) better job at hiding it. Interesting development on Chizuru's side. |

| haha.. this episode is the weakest in terms of jokes and references (some of them recycled) but it's nice to see chizuru development and the girls becoming more obvious that they are jealous.. mafuyu made me laugh again with her female otaku vs male otaku fight with ken.. and lol at the kanji quiz while the preview was running (Echo of Death, Railgun, Blacksmith, Seitokai).. haha.. fall season.. desolato said: well.. that's what happens when certain people watch it raw when they did not understand 100% of it..And I don't like people over analyzing a show that holds no depth whatsoever in the first place. |

| At first glance, the comic Minatsu is reading looks like a reference to Bleach. But I think it's reference to other mangas as well. Yeah the big guy is Chad from Bleach. The guy in the middle looks like the hero from Psyren manga, Yoshina Ageha. The glasses-wearing guy at the right looks like one of the characters from the manga Code:Breaker, Heike. Don't know who the other two are. I read some mangas so thats what I thought. Please correct me if Im wrong :D |

| I want to know something based on a pic of mine....the one not spoilered is that....Ken when he just broke up with those 2 girls or related to that event. If so then Chizuru knew about all this affair. Seriously Kanade must be really selfish to do this to Chizuru....I guess after the subs I can safely say that I am glad again for the hand shake, for Chizuru of taking care of Ken at his most needed time when his heart suffered emotionally and that the council helped her problems of the past. +5 for Chizuru, this episode made it that much higher for me towards her. You can say a 50% increase for me liking her more than before. |

| Looks like they are trying to add some more seriousness to the show, regarding the beginning (wonder what scar Ken have?) and Akaba's earlier school days. I really didn't expect her to be a person to have been bullied. Mafuyu's part where she complained that Ken didn't work on her route enough and that he should ask her properly about her book interest was hands down the most hilarious part though xD Especially when they started to argue which of their preferences was most "normal" =P With all girls being in love with him though I wonder who he is going to end up with, since Ken seems to jump with his choices between them all and his harem ending from episode to episode. My guess would be Kurimu since she's always had one of the bigger roles and we don't yet know her full back story, saving the best for last kind of thing. But the 'perfect' ending is where he gets them all and continue to live happily ever after =D |

| Great episode, I loved it how the funny and the serious parts were combined!^^ The hand-shake fortune-telling was somehow heart-warming^^ This episode showed a complete new and nice side of Chizuru (besides her sadistic and Mokyu~sides xD ) I lol'd at Kimuru's "stare"-comment XD I don't know if I'm write, but it seems to me that the very beginning of this episode is chronologically after this episode. If it's true, I hope that will be included detailfully if the next episode^^ Just 4 episodes left... :'-( |

| I've always hated it when Seitokai no Ichizon becomes of a serious anime, especially one revolving around Sugisaki, but Chizuru's backstory didn't irritate me at all. Maybe because it didn't end with a sad ending, it ended with the pres falling over. lol. |

It seems that he was insecure and wanted to be like Minatsu.(ep 6 flashback) In ep 8, he has a brief flashback where he meets Kurimu to cheer him up. This episode, it shows him being comforted by Chizuru. It seems that Ken has some history with all of them, which pushed him to get his life on track and aim for the Student Council. Maybe Mafuyu will be next. The series is great so far, and I really liked how they ended up naming other animes airing at the same time during the end of the show :) No Mafuyu and Minatsu already had a past story....we need Ken and Kurimu pasts badly...want to know about them more. |

| If the producer decides to explain about "kens scar" I'd say 20$ on the cheating thing, well, the reason he cheated in the first place is probably the scar. I enjoyed the episode, since there isn't any real plot, i just watch it and like it, in that aspect, it's kinda like to heart, not much story, just enjoyable. As for reference anime goes, I'd say this is kicking the living daylight out of Lucky star for now. |

| I liked the handshake fortune telling too. First time Kurimu jumped in and second time Minatsu pushed Kurimu. I think if we get a conclusion to Ken's harem ist will Kurimu or Minatsu. |
