| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I never thought I could be so disappointed at what Happiness Charge Precure has done, and literally just give the whole spotlight to Lovely. Red literally beat the crap out of Princess, Honey, and Fortune; sealed them in mirrors, along with Seiji and the fairies and with Lovely's pure infinite amounts of "innocent" love she was able to get a new transformation, "Forever Lovely" But what saddened me even more was when Blue and all the other precure from around the world just said to pray for Lovely and not Happiness Charge. Goodness, this is just like the finale of Doki Doki Precure... You know what this pink precure bias gets annoying every time. |

| This was pathetic. The battle against Red was a VERY cheap copy of the battle against Dune in HeartCatch, but with none of the emotion and power to it. And the finale... if you hated Cure Heart stealing the final battle in DokiDoki, you're going to HATE this. At least DokiDoki had one hell of a fight sequence once Cure Heart went SS3. HappinessCharge is the most I've ever been disappointed with Precure in a long while (Suite). 5/10. PS: Why the hell can Red kick all sorts of ass, throw planets at other planets, and be a total badass while Blue is a pansy-ass pussy who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag? |

Oh yes, Mana's LEG was most LOVELY. :3 Best Mana scene in whole series, was highly satisfying and she even looks CUTE. O_O I share the same thoughts about Blue. The way Toei built his character is pretty terrible. He seemed to lack knowledge (or hiding it) and seemed...mortal despite being a God. Without the Cures around him, he'd have been beaten up to pulp and perhaps, killed already. On the other hand, I really enjoyed Suite although the auto-balancing of Beat and Muse's powerlevel to match Rhythm and Melody was quite tough to stomach. Since I dropped Heartcatch in favour of Suite, I cannot comment on the self-plagiarisation with Dune's battle. However, I just saw it coming. That Red's powerlevel will suddenly increase tenfold, almost wipe out the cures and create a tense situation. Such is the way battle manga and anime narrative is written and this was just textbook. Good guys are awesome, then bad guy powers up and becomes awesome, tense situation created, some final superpower then beats bad guy. Nonetheless, I'm not too disappointed for some reason with Megumi stealing the spotlight. Although it is indeed a bad thing. While there are ways to making one character stealing the limelight reasonable (e.g. Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken Manga where it was stated explicitly that the role of the team is to get the Hero to the final boss in an unwounded state.), HapCha's way isn't. The good thing to take away is that HapCha did do a good job of character building (minus Honey and Blue). Megumi's character growth and maturity at this stage is rather impressive. As for Mana soloing the final boss in 1 minute after getting ultimate form...just lel. I somehow doubt it'll be as quick as that. If it's as quick as that though...meh. | I had to go back and look at it again when it happened, but Princess, Honey and Lovely all get knocked out of innocent form with an energy attack of some sort... and then there's Fortune... who just took a basic looking kick and she's punted out of innocent form... what...? |
| it was bad, like HeartCatch/DokiDoki level bad. now I don't mind Megumi becoming strongest one and gaining all new powers - she is leader, so it is to be expected. at least she didn't turn into some super-size Precure with punch of love or whatever that dumb thing was. what was bad is that this fight was weird looking - instead of quick action, we've got a LOT of close-ups, pauses and them talking the same things as in previous 2 episodes. let this series end and I do hope in next Toei will go into something more similar to Yes! or Fresh... heck even Suite wouldn't be bad. |

| This was a pretty good episode. The fight was really good and everything just felt right in this episode. I'm not bothered by the fact Lovely was the last one standing. |
| Great episode! I think when the Innocent song started playing right off the bat, i thought it was kinda off. Then again i don't really know what music they should put other than depressing theme when fighting Seiji in others which is already overused as itself. Disappointing about this is how Red only did one moves and the Cures got defeated easily. I mean he only put Honey on the ground, blasted Princess with that sheilf, and he only did ONE freaking kick to fortune and they all went down like that. Their even in Innocent form! WTF Toei at least give Red some menacing moves. Even Mirage did better than this. Also anyone notice how Red did a ray gun when he attacked Cure Lovely?! XD  Wtf why did Mirage only turned Precure just now?! Even though i'm glad she did, she should turned Precure when she was saved by Megumi. It was nice seeing Red's past, but why was it destroyed though? Did some force just destroyed it or did the people did? Did Blue had something to do with it or what? Forever Lovely!!! It just looks like an upgraded of Innocent form  oh well, last episode next! Can't wait to finally finish this! Go Lovely! |
| This last fight against Red has been disappointing and does feel like a bad rehash of Heartcatch's fight against Dune. On a less noteworthy note Forever Lovely's design look good cause no ugly clown make up. |
| Freaking beautiful episode, Red's actions are unforgivable, but I can't help but understand how he must feel seeing the fate his planet went through, imagine being alone for such a long time. Lovely gets her ultimate form with the love coming from everyone, time for the finale. |

| Everything about this ending arc feels like Toei said they needed more episodes to fill time slots after Mirage was reformed. I've been going "oh, there's still more episodes" ever since then. So much could have been improved if they'd let it end there and given those episodes the saved animation budget money so they could have been better. |
