 I sure hope that Sayuri and Ryou won't get fooled into getting into a romantic involvement that really doesn't make sense. Right now, Ryou is just starting the long road in his formal training to become "un pâtissier". The last thing that he needs at this point is to get hooked into any kind of serious relationship. I could see him benefiting from a short-term fling, but that wouldn't be good for Sayuri. Ryou should just focus 100% on his studies, including all of the major sacrifices needed to do it properly. So for example, he should find some way to work part-time so that he can get part of his training in France. He will never be able to become a star if all of his training is in Japan. As for Sayuri, she needs to be looking for opportunities to hook up with an older man who is already well-established in his career. Let's hope that Gilbert's grandma will be able to talk some sense into her. She seems nice. |

| @phoenixalia: That's a very interesting comment, because to me, Ryou seems like an extremely realistic character. His behavior all makes sense to me. For one thing, Sayuri is totally hot. Then, random luck put them together in class. More random luck meant that he had to pick her up with the "Princess Carry". Then she came to his hospital room insisting on nursing him back to health. Also, he is probably only 18 or 19 without a lot of love experience. So naturally, Sayuri is going to get his attention. On the official website for this series there is some background information about each character. Presumably, fans of the series are assumed to be reading it prior to watching the episodes. So I won't put it inside spoiler tags. Ryuu's personality is described as ぶっきらぼうな態度 (bukkirabōna taido) which means something like "abrupt", "offhand" or "blunt". I guess we've all seen that. Something else that it says is that there is a rivalry between Ryou and Mitsuki. So far, we haven't seen any of that, as far as I can remember. Presumably, this has to show up before the series ends. Note that the other two instructors came to visit Ryou in the hospital, but Mitsuki wasn't with them. Also, the head teacher gave Mitsuki special instructions to "Please see to Haruno-san's emotional care, as well." This seems to be hinting at something to come. This series desperately needs a second season. |

| Why were they being so dramatic about Ryou's arm? Did I really see a "he won't be able to..." in that sub or did I dream the opening scene of this ep? What the fuck's the twist around this going to be? He's a baker, not a sportstar. Then again, this show's already told us about the wonders of eating chocolate's connections to illicit sexual relationships, so I wouldn't be surprised if the next life lesson's going to be "you can only be a real baker if you've got the fully functioning biceps of Chris Redfield". |

Lol yeah I was like oh no because of the convo in the opening scene. But then in the hospital scene, everything seemed just fine. Sayuri's mental state is perfectly fine and Ryou is wide awake not just "finally aware of his surroundings." But yeah, there's still a possibility that Ryou's hand might need some physical therapy or something to fully recover or something, instead of just being a minor injury which it seemed in this episode. Is Sayuri going to be late and not able to make the visiting hours :( because that'll make Ryou very sad. The feeling of disappointment after anticipating for something I know all too well. |

| Ryou hand isn't serious phew. Everyone came to see him except Misuki. Headmistress has an interest in Ryou's patisserie talent. Maybe he is on par with Misuki or something Oh Gil-sensei's grandmother visits. Maybe the grandmother will make something special for Sayuri and Gil-sensei to thank her. |
