i found ayumu little speech about how she is going to fight for tomorrow a little silly, the story to this point has been relatively grounded, realistic, but having her give a "power of frienship" or "never give up" style of speech to a girl trying to kill that also bullied her, felt idiotic, and then katsumi, and about him im dissapointed how he was dropped so fast from the main antagonist role for manami to take over, being so terrified of manami felt, infuriating, i was hoping he would be at least a little bit violent towards her taking into account how much he resent her yet here katsumi feels like it was brought only for manami to beat up, to further worse her own situation, how he was introduced and shown to be so deviant to the point of forcing himself onto ayumu, to the point of almost raping here in her own house with her mother in, and yet here we have him doing nothing but fleeing from manami, he doesnt even defends himself, and on that point how ayumu jumps to protect the man that almost raped her and humilliated her, again, it felt idiotic, making ayumu virtous to the point of self harm all in order to aid the people she should hate the most, she didnt have any reason to look for manami or to help katsumi and yet she did, to me this whole situation takes points away from what was a fairly solid plot.

@rodmanii He's literally been shown to be weak, several times. Ayumu literally pushed him away before. He peed his pants when confronted by a group of thugs that Ayumu, Yuki, and Hatori fought off. Katsumi has always shown to be cowardly, which is why he has to use manipulation to overpower people. When that doesn't work, he panics and tries to run.

@LuxuriousHeart and he has been shown to have no problems forcing himself onto women, and despite that fact, we have him here so terrified of a woman he hates with burning passion because what? reasons? because the author wanted to hype up manami, i take it the editor didnt like the sexual assault aspect that katsumi brought to the table.

@rodmanii He literally got shoved off by Ayumu. That's why he tries to blackmail her, when he couldn't physically overpower her (after the initial off guard meeting where he tied her up). He's not as tough as you think he is. He was always portrayed as weak, which is why he had to use manipulation. Mana had more strength and grit than he ever did.

Once again, Manami has shown more grit and strength. Katsumi was always just manipulation. I seriously don't know how you saw his actions and thought that he'd be some super strong Chad that Ayumu and Manami would have to team up to take down.

"He literally pissed him pants when thugs confronted him" and in your mind, the fact that he was afraid of some thugs would also make him afraid of a single girl he hates?, i never expected ayumu or manami to do anything together, i expected him to take the chance to take revenge against the woman who is the sole reason of his misery

@rodmanii He said those women consented and did everything he wanted. He likes Ayumu because she fought back, which was challenging.

Katsumi was a coward. And he literally got punched by Ayumu, btw. He was literally not scary. He was a manipulative coward.
