Good match this episode. They didn't waste any time with the fusion. I expected some rage from Shun.

Yuzu is actually doing quite well and I'm impressed by her Fusion summoning. DEFLECT SHOT. Overall a solid duel and a lot of action. It didn't waste a single minute and I am fairly impressed. Grats Yuzu on winning!

It's so great to see Fusion duels once again!

We knew Yuzu was going to get a new ace, but I was very surprised that Masumi got a new ace as well! And not only that, Yuzu has two fusion monsters!

I really like that they are adding more support to the Gem-Knight archetype as well. That was one of my favorites. I hope we see Masumi more in the future though.

I really loved this episode, this could be my favorite episode of the series I am not kidding. I love Yuzu and Masumi, there long awaited rematch is the match I was most looking forward to in this tournament.

Sora continues to act suspecious, seriously he either has to be a villain, or an intentional red hariing to lure out the real villain like some undercover cop.

So we had a fusion duel, and it was as awesome as I thought it would be. As expected Masumi had the advantage for most of the duel to build up tension.

This episode further makes me love Masumi more. She is very confident in heself, but doesn't go over the line that it is just arrogance. Normally these types of characters especially when they already have a victory against their opponent and are undefeated against their opponent, there attitude would be "I can beat you in my sleep, I don't even have to try" and take their opponent lightly, but not Masumi she is at least taking this and Yuzu as an opponent seriously. We all know if Shingo had a 1-0 record against Yuyu going into their match, OMG he would be so unbearable, even more than he already is.

And Masumi not playing the I am going to take you lightly trope, it would have cheapened Yuzu's victory, these two ladies were giving it their all, and whoever loses would have no excuses. That is the way it should be. Nice to see Hokuto and Yaiba cheering Masumi on, okay maybe not cheering, but they defentely weren't cold and emotionless, so it is not a repeat of the prvious duel message of You Show we cheer and support each other while LDS just don't care. So they are not painting LDS with a bold brush, the Akaba family issues should not reflect LDS as a whole, that is a personnel family issue.

And Yuzu using Crystal Rose was awsome. She showed how smart she is and how determain she is, a vast invrovement over the lead girl in the previous Yu Gi Oh series. And she saved Masumi at the end, I do wonder who's bright idea he was to make a field in which the loser would take a fall like that, I hope no one would actually get hurt. just an illusion.

Masumi giving Yuzu her Crystal Rose card was a nice moment, it is her away of acknowledge Yuzu and maybe saying Crystal Rose is better suited for Yuzu than her. Her telling Yuzu to win the tornament, that was a nice moment, but Masumi is going to be very angry, I don't see Yuzu winning this. She might win one more match. But the seeds of a Yuzu / Masumi friendship has been planted, and I can't wait to see that relationship develop some more.

Next week, I don't know who is going to win, I want Yuyu to get a chance to beat this guy, but I also want to see Gogenzaka and Yaiba duel one more time.

All and all so far this is my favorite episode.

well its only powerful against special summoned monsters and with an attack of 1000 almost any lv 4 normal summoned monsters can kill it. note that its only not destroyed by battle against a special summoned monster.

WTF! just when this episode showed the deciding winner through skill they pull some stupid shit with trying to get an action card again.... seriously the best duels in this show are only when the characters aren't using that stupid action duel thing or when they aren't trying to get an action card to decide the duel.

Yuto vs that one LDS guy is a perfect example. SImple duel, no action dueling just regular hologram dueling and skill.

Gotta say, Yuzu definitely improved her game, I think she should be a better duelist than Yuya. Yuya just spams pendulum summonings too much.
If I had a list of top favorite characters in order Yuya would be dead last, well actually tied with that shivers kid

I imagine Yuzu using Xyz Monsters. Her deck can Special Summon Level 4 monster easily. Maybe Rank 4 Fantasias.

Yea you want to get use to action cards at this point......it's gonna be the whole accel counters and what not from 5ds.......Whenever they say the chant at the beginning it's gonna heavily rely on action cards as it is an Action Duel ergo the whole point lol

Not saying there won't be standing on 2 legs not running, jumping, sliding, etc duels just not in the near future at this point.

Man as expected, Masumi's memories didn't get jogged, but it was still an interesting duel. No holding back. I didn't like the part when Masumi said to Yuzu if she didn't activate that Trap card, then Masumi would've won. If she didn't fusion summon, then the result would've been the same. Anyway, can't wait for the next duel. Hopefully Yuya's best friend wins!

I actually liked the action card thing this time, with both of them racing for the same card.

Overall great duel, and a better showing for Yuzu than her previous duel with Masumi.

"Fortress Maximus has come himself. Okay! Then I shall get Fortress Maximus to fight me, huh huh huh!"
