| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmmm. It reminded me of that episode in GX when Jaden dueled that doll...and then the combo the kid used in the beginning reminded me of the Seal of Orichalcos. Lots of flashbacks, haha. But anyway, another "filler" type episode. Seems to me they just want everyone to duel...Yusei dueled, then Crow, then Jack, now Rua. Who's next? Aki? :P |
| wow since the battle with the dark signers ended on episode 64 there hasnt been even one episode that is supposed to follow the story line from episode 65.... dam im kinda getting irritated already xD |

| This episode felt a lot like a Doma arc episode due to the ghost kid's barrier-like Spell cards. Sadly, even a Doma episode would've been more entertaining than this boring mess of an episode. I mean sure the plot was a little depressing with the dead siblings, but they never show up again so it feels pointless. Also I realized that I really don't like Rua's new duel disk. Something about it looks way too toyish. |
| Glad that Lua finally got a bit of a break and won through strategy and not continuous crying and whining. Good on him for powering through. Luca though. For someone with the power to see duel spirits and is supposed to have some protecting her...she sure manages to get hypnotised and kidnapped a lot :P |

| well, that was an episode, felt like filler but hey at least Leo won a duel, seems like he is getting better after his fellow classmates were joking about how their grades would look good if they dueled against Leo's low skill. Turns out Haley was too overprotective of Claire and ended up trapping innocent spirits in the process. Haley is far from reality to the point where a normal human being is a wicked spirit. Leo beating Haley finally gave Haley closure, with Claire and the corresponding card reappearing. And with that, Claire and Haley vanish and the trapped spirits are free. |
