Is it badly done?

Maybe the people who dont understand it are filthy peasants with no intellect?

Which of the two is it.

I for one belong to the latter because i didnt understand shit.

Especially Sacchi ,HOLY SHIT NOBODY CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT SHES TALKING ABOUT.

Then you have snow, chickens, glass, classical music and kakkeru kagebunshins.

God knows why they put so many metaphors in this.

^ This.

Well, I felt like there was something there, but considering the fact I had to shut off my brain to just make it watchable, I probably missed most of it.

I found this post/explanation/theory
[quote]First off rewatch the series again so you can understand a lot of the clues spread out earlier in the story that might have just slipped you. Also there were a good amount of clues given to you at the end, especially When Yuki is at the school with Touko.

To clarify:
Q: How many chickens are there?
A: 5; Husserl, Confucius, Roger, Makuzu, and of course Jonathan.

Q: How many friends does Touko have?
A: 5; Yanagi, Sachi, Yukinari, Hiro, and Kakeru.

Q: What is so different about Jonathan?
A: Jonathan is from another place, doesn't get really along with the other chickens, and is only one named after and adventurer/traveler.
Rhetorical: Does that sound like any of the other characters?

Q: What about the visions?
A: Basically it is the representation of desires and emotions. Some have a good bit of symbolism, such as the falling vision is a representation of anxiety. Just look into them yourself, it is like a good novel; you find something new each time you go through it.

If it was so hard to find any meaning to the symbolism, then it's lost its meaning.
I shouldn't go to the forums to find the meaning of stuff that didn't had any purpose on the story. If I wanted shitty meaning I'd go to some of those card-readers people that scam you telling you jack-shit about your future, much like this show did with us.

I could see this being possible, but the anime was so fucking boring and uneventful that I comet let missed this and didn't even care to notice.
