| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, I thought the episode was boring, at least compared to some of the previous ones. They should take their idol work a bit more seriously not that I doubt them. They do seem to enjoy their work quite a bit though. Shame we didn't get much music in this latest episode. Keep working hard girls. Oh and I think they modified their outfits a little. |

| My impression is that the problem with this episode was the direction. Typically, an anime series will have a "director", but each individual episode has an "episode director". Typically, the "episode director" is a more junior person. Many years of work as an episode director leads to becoming a series director. Prior to being an episode director, people tend to do story boarding. Young people need a chance to try and make mistakes. It is important to give a new episode director a free hand to let them try their ideas and then see for themselves whether it works or does not work in the end. I am certain that this person learned something from their mistakes and will do better in the future. I don't know how to tell, from reading the credits, who is the episode director for this episode. However, on the internet they list all of the work done by some person, and it is easy to see lists of the individual episodes that they have directed or storyboarded. Given that this is Episode 10, there is not too much potential damage from using an inexperienced episode director. The direction of the first several episodes was brilliant. There were some slow episodes, but they were slow for legitimate reasons. I hate to say this was "boring", but it was. |

| Interestingly, I seem to be in the minority in that I thought more of this episode than any of the previous episodes. It seemed several things came together regarding the characters and the overall story. Possibly, also, I just want the song to do so well it makes Nyanako's uncle eat his words ;) |

| I liked this episode, but I've enjoyed the series and have come to like the characters. It was funny when the least competent, Nanako, ends with the job of writing the lyrics, but in the end she leans on Yiukari and Mirai to complete them. Nothing wrong with that, writing song lyrics can be challenging, Running into the pole and the volleyball in the face amused me. I'm glad they didn't reveal the new song and are waiting until the Locodol Festival. It's more climactic that way. |

| Aah, they cut it right before the song! But I guess it can't be helped, they had to leave the actual performance as surprise for next Locodol Festa episode. Something to look forward I guess. I just hope the song is great. |

| 5/5 There are those who do things because they should be done and who needs a "motivation" to make it economical! XD Funny episode as usual narrative that gives a nod to comedy, plot advancing, relaxing. A little slow, but I've never seen an SOL that it was not. Drawings and animations of good workmanship, the stars really nice, too bad that the show will end in two episodes. |

| This episode felt VERY short. Nanyako trying to evade the writing new song xD Sleepover with Yukari, and taking a bath with her. I'm sure Yukari went to sleep happy when Yukari came over. |
