| [b]Short Story Q&A[/b] What are Short Stories? Short stories are brief encounters between two or more individuals. Is there a chapter limit? Yes. Short Stories span only one post. You can choose how long you make them, but keep in mind that the longer they are, the less likely they are to be read. The model for Short Stories is something like this but in text. In what setting do Short Stories take place? They take place in the main MSG setting. Can short stories add background or characters to the main MSG stories? Yes, they can. Do Short Stories follow standard MSG rules? Yes, they do. Do Short Stories have to be approved? No, they don't. If they are found to violate MSGC rules, however, they will be amended or removed. Does there have to be a human involved? No, the encounter may be between monster girls. Do I have to be myself? No. For the sake of variety, any human character can be random. What happened to the dice roller and MG list? I want random companions! The requirement to roll random characters was removed for greater flexibility. If you would still prefer to have randomised characters, the list (last updated 2015-10-17) can be found here, and you can use Rolz to roll dice. Where do I post my Short Stories? | @Chime: Since some people have been confused, I threw together a quick random example, not what I plan to post for MY short story but hopefully this can give some people an idea. |
