I just feel it was somewhat basic, it actually had great plot for romance anime , but i had feeling they needed to add more content , like what hakuya and others are , their shapes , more update on hakuya personality , maybe scene where he rescue kobeni from bad guys showing his power ... so much things they could have done ...

It was only 12 episodes, and in those 12 episodes they really did well in execution especially compared to other 1 cour anime out there. The ending felt great, don't want to explain it right now. Season 2 would be cool for the people that want more details, but how it went for the 12 episodes was cool for me. It was focused on the interaction and development of the characters, so it didn't necessarily had to go way into details on the past for that.
Please send me a message/profile comment since I will most likely not check my forum posts. Thank you.

But if they said what they were they wouldn't be a mystery would they?

Plus of course if the anime adaptation wanted to have that then it would have to make it up.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.

This is actually something that I hate on today's anime. Not that I disliked the series (I actually think both Yonomori sisters are great characters) but the thing is nothing really happened in it. We got some premise but hardly and progress or resolution and that's my main criticism of it.

I know this is adaptation of 4-koma. I know it's not finished. But the heck, please don't make a series of something that you can't reasonably end. One only gets disappointed. And this is basically what I hate on all today's mixed media business.

Of course, this could change if sequel is done later. But... right now there is no promise we eventually get one. And as such, watching those series seem kinda pointless in the end. Because... who wants to watch unfineshed story?

Well i can pretty much guarantee that a sequel is most possible! Amzing anime adaptation & 1 of the best of the year. The Average sales it had Domestic (Japan) were near 6.400k copies. You can imagine that the average number needed for a sequel is near 3-4.000k copies with some exceptions anime titles with less getting a sequel. So based on sales it's in a very very good position. As far as concern the "But the heck, please don't make a series of something that you can't reasonably end" it's a fanbased opinion & i'm saying this not to offend u. But to make it clear imagine u are a wealthy Businessman on the animation industry. You are going to invest money for example to make Lords of the rings book series into movies (imaginary example). You would make the whole series instantly into movies risking your money without knowing if it would be worth for the fans so you get a profit from it? i'm saying a Big NO! You will make a part of the series into movies to see how the market will move & then u will continue into sequels until the end of the series. It's pretty simple management! In this case animation Industry works like this. That's why most of the "small" anime are always screened into a bunch of seasons & not in one big season. Except ofc the "Big" ones who have already big Fan bases all over the world (One piece-Fairy Tail-Bleach-Hunter x Hunter- Naruto etc.) & a guaranteed profit!

Hope i didn't confused u & that u understand what i'm saying!
P.S sry for my very bad English :(

Interesting numbers there TW, I didn't have high hopes that this would get a 2nd Season, but there is no denying those numbers are pretty impressive and well beyond the average of a slice of life anime. Profitability is clearly there, so its just up to the studio if they want to give it further seasons.

There is not much source material atm. I believe the anime covered most, if not all of what is currently done. Being a 4-panel, the progress is a bit slower than other source material. Hopefully those sales will allow the gap to be bridged faster than the norm...
