More of those mishaps like School Days and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. -_-

The official Japanese website for the Shigofumi television anime series announced that the third episode, which was broadcasted on January 16, was "altered in light of recent circumstances in the society at large."

Crime rate isn't good either in USA (certain states) but apparently crimes just gotta have a "plot" in Japan.

This again... Why do they always think that anime is on a weird way related with all these things? =.= Do they think anime is a complot or something? Geesh, they just should air it, it's not like not airing it will stop things like this happening :?

after decades of high murder rates they think anime effects it suddenly? or that there's any relation other than how someone with the will to kill already might plan it based on anime scenes? recent...pfft

^You can take the example of the high school kid who murdered his parents after seeing how pointless humans were. His philosophy came from NGE and he figured that he could kill anyone after he's killed his parents.

Japan has the lowest murder rates in the world, along with Ireland and Iceland. The highest is the US, our murder rate is about 11x that of Japan's.

You have no idea man. The pressure is intense. I had a lesson with a few guys aged around 20, and I asked them what their ideal job would be, with a bunch of options. They all picked 'routine and secure', over the other more fun categories. Society's just beaten them all down to a mediocre pulp, its no surprise a percentage just snap.

That's bullshit! I can't believe a well adjusted kid saw NGE and decided to off his parents. That's correlation w/o causation.

All that NGE is liable to do is make you depressed for a week.
