Great voice acting for both main characters, Taisho and Tanaka. The story is about a cat who was "destined" to be a model, or so he says. Anyway, he ends up on the skids...on the verge of suicide, he is saved by a ramen cook, who later befriends him and the rest is history as our hero, Taisho, tries to make an "honest living." Tanaka-kun, is the only real loyal customer he has and a funny one at that. Wait til you meet Taisho-kun's daddy...hilarious! If you have 30 minutes to spare and are in the mood for some hilarity...Higepiyo style...well, you are in for a real treat. 13 episodes...2-3 mins. each. |
| Well I thought I would write a short review on Fireball a CGI from 2008 and beleive it or not produced by Disney. The 1-2 min episodes tahe place in the distant future where there is some war between humankind and robots - is this important, no. Basically its random sometimes surreal conversations between Drossel von Flügel (maybe from some robot royalty) and Gedächtnis who is some sort of servant. It it a must watch probably not, but certainly alright for a giggle or two. |

| I recently started watching some shorts by Osamu Tezuka. They are filled with humor and whimsy. If you have time to watch one, you may as well watch 3 or 4, but why not start with 'Jumping'. I am not trying to be smart, but it is about jumping. It is visually stimulating and colorful. | If you read todays comments then you will know Dark Side Cat seemed to be the topic of the day. A 6 part 6 minute little gem - concerning a cat (not another cat show) who causes chaos around town. Without giving the plot away, are his actions planned to bring down the cat hating mayor - or is it all just down too luck. For those who like action, fun and support the litlle guy against the establishment - this is highly recommended - though ep 4 is very sad. To be found on crunchyroll |

| I will second slenderfall-san's review. I watched the series as well and enjoyed it. Our anti-hero, Dark Side Cat, is a flashy dresser, wears a cape, (most heroes do, right?) has great theme music to back up his every move, and I think he knows it too. I could almost hear him snap those sharp paws of his, as if to cue the entourage he may have, behind the scenes, as the music starts a playin...way cool. ^^) So yes indeed, if you're looking for a good "short time," Dark Side Cat is your man. |
