| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- six days is pretty fast, I'm sure Goku can train sufficiently by then. Krillin is a good spy - being able to hide ki was a good plot device. Even destroying the scouters - I don't remember DBZ making this much sense. Freeze still manages to be an annoying douche all these years I like the story about the dragon balls and the elders (which I don't remember at all) |

| I finally caught up. I have to say that I'm enjoying this, partially because of nostalgia, and partially because it's quite good. I totally forgot about Dende, too. Oh, and suppose this has already been said, but together, the Namekian warriors have a power level of OVER 9000!! |

Hey this is exactly like DBZ... the scouter and spying parts were there... Just a lil bit longer... The only stuff I dun remember is the story around the Elders and the way they got their own Dragonball... Anything besides that is where it should be... Even Vegeta's eavesdropping hahahaha... I loved the episode with all this drama for the poor Namekseijins XD... SO it's time to save the good ol' Dende... Too bad the Elders died thou.... And yeh Goku's fight and take off arefaster than before! YAY for speed XD Signs, Green |

| Wow! They cut out the days immensely lol. Goku was not shown training either, which is a shame as I liked that part. It was good how the NAmekian shot all their gadgets to stop them from recognising Ki etc. 50 eps, are they going to fit all Frieza, Cell and Buu together????? |

| from some reason i feel the goku's part in the episode too rushed, he got the spaceship too damn fast. aside from that, the namek part was well paced, i was worried they would rushed it too much but it's just fine, though i find the battle too much censored. |
| Frieza is a delightfully cruel aristocrat. The man hardly lifts a finger, nor does he waste his energy walking. He floats around in his fancy ship giving eloquent commands, while waving his hands for his minions to kill everyone in his place. That was a killer introductory scene for the main villain of Namek! He's so confident in himself nothing gets under his skin, which makes even the bravest attempts at refuting him feel futile. The fact that the best thing the Namekians can do is attempt to throw their lives away in return for stripping the ability to find more of their kind only adds to that sense of overwhelming danger. "A valiant effort my friend but you will kindly answer my questions in the same language they were addressed to you, not this gibberish," was such a horribly racist line. DBZ knows how to do villains! Minor note, ever since Dragon Ball, some of my favorite interactions have been Goku using technology. He's not the same kid that thought men were inside TV's and the Red Ribbon Army were hiding inside radio intercoms, but he's still adorable when he uses that stuff. It's so out of his comfort zone. |
