 vs. ICHIGO KUROSAKI POWERS AND ABILITIES [ABRIDGED] Advanced Growth Rate: According to Aizen and Urahara, Ichigo's most astounding ability is his growth rate: he grasps the basic control of advanced techniques in days where it would take even the most gifted shinigami months or years. Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Physically, Ichigo is in top form even when not in his spiritual body. Ichigo has been trained in martial arts since he was a small child, both professionally and by his father's constant assaults and surprise attacks when at home. He regularly fights with and defeats bullies and gangsters, and is an even better martial artist than Tatsuki, the second-strongest girl in all of Japan. Enhanced Strength: When he is in his Shinigami body, Ichigo's already impressive strength is greatly enhanced. Immense Spiritual Energy: The Arrancar Ulquiorra has claimed that Ichigo's spiritual power at its peak is even greater than his own, but that it fluctuates wildly when he is in conflict with his inner hollow. Because he has far more spiritual energy than his body can contain, it leaks out constantly, preventing him from hiding it and effectively making stealth impossible when dealing with other spiritually-aware creatures. Master Swordsmanship Specialist: In terms of fighting style, Ichigo relies mostly on his zanpakutō and the use of flash steps to move at hypersonic speeds, and thus would be considered a swordsmanship specialist. Flash Steps Expert: Taught flash steps by Urahara and Yoruichi the 'Goddess of the Flash'. While not particularly versed in the various techniques he is able to keep up with and even surprise Captain-level shinigami with his speed. INUYASHA The male protagonist, a hybrid of a youkai-dog and a human, a half-demon. He wields the Tessaiga, a supernatural sword made from one of his deceased father's fangs. This sword, when properly wielded, can destroy one hundred demons with a single swing, and has further powers which are revealed as the story progresses. It is also a source of which hatred exists between Inuyasha and his brother Sesshomaru, a full youkai dog demon, being that Inuyasha can weild the Tessaiga and Sesshomaru can not. Inuyasha has a tendency for massive regeneration and can recover from injuries which would be fatal for any average human. This ability is likely derived from his youkai powers . | This doesn't really need to be debated to know who is "strongest". Ichigo has the advantage is all aspects of fighting. |

| I would have to say that Ichigo is stronger. Mostly due to his hollow powers,and since he learned how to control them they would destroy InuYasha even in full demon form. |

| Kurosaki Ichigo. As far as I remember, Ichigo doesn't have any real weakness that can make him vulnerable, versus InuYasha that becomes human and loses all his powers when there's a full moon. That and also Ichigo has several ways of powering up (Vaizard mask, Bankai, etc.), InuYasha just has one (when he becomes animal or something?). |

| This isn't much of a Debate... Ichigo > Inuyasha All of Inu's power comes from his sword or Kagome, granted Ichigo is pretty useless w/o his as well but not completely also considering he can call it from anywhere. Plus Inu's way too slow he can't even beat his brother because of his speed. |
| Personally I feel this debate should be altered slightly, especially since everyone is claiming Ichigo will win hands down (I actually think Inuyasha has a somewhat of a shot), especially since everyone finds Inuyasha to be the "underdog." lol Get it, underdog?! ....... *sigh* everybody's a critic. Anyway I think instead of Ichigo Kurosaki vs Inuyasha, it should be Ichigo Kurosaki vs Yusuke Urameshi. The substitute soul reaper vs the spirit detective, getsuga tensho vs Spirit gun, malicious inner hollow inside Ichigo vs mazoku demon blood coursing through Yusuke's veins. |
