| Since Lee is easily one of my favorite characters, this episode hurt. I also felt bad for Naruto when he helped in getting Sasuke healed and was forced to watch Sakura's reaction, he still definitely did the right thing though. |

| They handled this episode relatively well. Not bad at all. Kinda got me. Lee's part had me kinda like, "Oh..." For some reason, I didn't see these episodes back in the day and I only saw the results so it's actually really nice to see how things started out. |
| poor lee :( and i really don't understand people here, lee was hurt very differently from sasuke and kakashi (forget naruto who got the kyubi and some plot armours), lee is very different because he kinda brought it on himself using that technique he knew would be dangerous. |

| @DigiCat that zeal is all one need and it is enough to enforce one's ideal regardless of their standing .The show is built on possessing skills to harrass the inner mechanisms of a human body but one who has "stamina" trumps all and gets a free pass after a few days of sleep .Except Lee that is ,who embodies pure effort with no intrinsic advantage,suffers the consequnces of a battle ,broken in a hospital. |
