| Ayo, Had a weird feeling when Mami got all Happy lol. I guess this was to be expected, The ending song even changed and I prefer this one lol. Rip Mami, Gone too soon. |

| Homura seems like a very "perfect" character: she is an ace at everything the does, doesn't inexplicably freeze up at the first surprise when fighting witches (unlike Mami, who somehow survived this long), and accurately foretells how any given situation or event will play out in the future. I suspect the only reason Mami succeeded at binding Homura at all was so that she could die and prove Homura right again, as some sort of plot device. |

| in addition to the beautiful design of the Charlotte witch & her labyrinth, the shocking and beautiful departure of Mami Tomoe, my favorite thing about this rewatch was realizing how wonderful Madoka's father is. he teaches her to care for and respect her alcoholic mother, when i've met many families where the father teaches his children to disrespect their mother for her failings. Junko truly has a loving and kind husband and I appreciated him a lot this episode. Madoka has a good dad. RIP Mami-san. |
