| Currently in need of a card admin. This person will run the card editions for the cafe. Essentially, you'll create the threads once the card makers have created their cards, communicate with the card makers on occasion, suc as sending them a newsletter, and also helping identify themes for the editions. I don't have very proficient computer skills, but I would consider myself to be good at visual arts, so I can whip out ideas for layout, design, card editions, and other non visual stuff of course-like how threads can be organised to make the club less confusing and more inviting for new members. (: Plus. me and elkensteyein are practically twinsies with our >85% anime compatibility. it's like a buy one get one free deal! what a bargain! |

| We are currently not looking for any type of Brainstormers, but users that are capable of handling image manipulating programs of their choice on a high level; to bring wanted results in graphical editions. That's only an example as far as cards and layouts are concerned, however. Bottom line is, we are looking for skill and talent on whatever part we are recruiting at the time. |

Hello, dwarlock. What you've done in the examples you've shared is attach an image to another image as well as add text alongside it. I'm sorry, but such cards are of too low level to be made in editions here at Namine's Cafe. | FJAZ, I'll be blunt. I like your graphics. However, we are in no need of wallpapers. The closest matter that comes are layouts, but I'm really strict on those. You would have to compete with masterpieces that people such as CliricX7 create to be hired as a layout maker, so I wouldn't recommend that. However, as said, I like your graphics. I am willing to recruit you as a card maker if you can create at least two different cards of similar or better quality than you've linked in your post. I require some direct material which I can then judge. But to say the least, I believe your chances are really high. |

| Sacreds, Hello there, fancy seeing you drop around here. I'm aware of your graphics from your thread already and can see that you are very familiar with image manipulation on a high level. However, I should say that creating cards is a tad different to creating signatures, profile pictures, and alike. While everyone has their own preferences, I will say that when it comes to cards, complexity is many times better than simplicity. In other words, the more time you spend on meddling with smaller details all around, the better the outcome, most likely. I've had other staff members also share their opinion on the examples you've shared and we've come up with the following; the first two shared are quite excellent, the third (animated images) are quite bad as in if you are making animated cards these wouldn't be the ones we would want to see, while the last one is somewhere in between. Here's the deal. We prefer cards that are "enhanced". The strong-point of your cards is that the characters and backgrounds included are really beautiful. That's the core taken care of already - you've got the awesome taste we like. However, we would like it if the colors, shading, intensity, and more, could be worked on a bit more. Your images seem really beautiful but they have that essence of something static. As if a completion was thrown on a paper. That is a nice thing for art-works, but we prefer cards to be more dynamic, in a sense. Try out different compositions and orientations. I've written too much already. I would like you to try creating two cards after reading this post and sharing them. If you haven't understood what I've tried to say then it's okay as well, I'm not really good at putting card making stuff things into words; but if you did, then it's that much better. Try making two cards of your choice and sharing them and then we'll see how to proceed. To be blunt: you'll be recruited, there's no question there. I just want to push your potential as far as possible in the direction we desire. So; two cards. Your choice of theme and everything. After you're done, post them here and you're recruited. Edit: Holy cow, how the hell did I write so much. |
