| Okay so, I just realized that I have 499 completed anime and I feel like my 500th completed series should be something worthwhile/special. I'd like some help choosing from these titles as my 500th:I don't have any particular genre preference at the moment and I know that all of these titles are "good" but I've chosen these because they've been on my PTW for a while now and they're all basically the same length. So, help/advice would be much appreciated! d(^_^o) |

Do you know of any other anime that might come close to the genius that makes Elfen Lied on of my favorites? |

| If the funky animation puts you off Gantz then I would suggest reading it instead, it isn't full of dialogue so the chapters just fly by and it is an easy read, the manga is also finished :P I am surprised noone mentioned Hellsing (mainly Hellsing Ultimate), pointless gore, pointless fan service, vampires (that don't sparkle), Nazi's vs the church, need I say more? |
| yeah hellsing is in my plan to watch (and hellsing ultimate) there's so many akuma demon and so forth animes that i've started like d grayman and gungrave, and i just havent finished them because of their slow pace. I guess i made the mistake of assuming hellsing was going to be just another one of those? |
| @jamesjaimegarcia- you can always try Another, it has plenty of gore and also Shiki. You have both on your PTW list already. Mouryo no Haku is another good one. |
