| It's pretty obvious that the Real Saki will take over once we get to the actual nationals. This is, like others have said, purely a way to show more about Teru, and the other schools that are going up against Kiyosumi in the nationals. Achiga is not winning. They will make it to nationals most likely, but they are not winning nationals. |

But after this anime ends probably we'll get faster release... who knows. In the first season, while I like and love seeing Saki open Kan one after another but I never forgot what Yumi did in that game despite having no hax power. As for Ikeda, comparing her to Shizu is like earth and sky. Ikeda is a one way play style and once she get stuck she can't do shit but sitting doing nothing while praying for a miracle. On the other hand, Shizu has a flexible play style I believe this is the first I have seen someone who changed their hand multiple times in just one round. Shizu may not be a monster as the others but she has the right skill to keep up with those monsters. I don't know about you but I prefer a complex game over a straight forward one that all just about who has the biggest power one. As for Arata, I didn't see much of her game but so far they seemed to tell us is that she is a player who is capable of making people screw over themselves. And I believe she is the best candidate for Hisa. |

Few more years before Saki season 2 is going to be aired. Yumi vs Shizuno? ... Yumi's comfirmed 5 stars player at the maho's mahjong tutorials. She's badass normal, AND - strangely, she's pretty good to reach Kokushi - and there's this time when she beat Fujita, Hisa, etc, and her hands consisted of Chitoitsu - Honrouto (... Honors + Terminals) - I sense she's developing powers on her own, lol. As for Shizuno, I just don't want to talk about her. I was in avoidance state, and just don't want to talk about her in general. ... Fine, I'll bite. But I do agree that her play is pretty splendid in last hand (only - but because of the whole dealing into haneman is to show how she could reach 2nd, - and for me to take pleasure of Shizuno's frustrated face - ehm, sorry getting off topic), Changing waits (with closed hand) is pretty hard, but thankfully she decided to when it's pretty early. I feel bad for Kentani not advancing, only slightly, though. Because they gave me the Yuru Yuri feels, lol. Tea Ceremony Club but actually used for Mahjong club!? x3 And Yuuka's "De". :D I can't wait for next ep... Kei-chan and Tsuruga/Kazekoshi's cameo. :D Which is out in... 2 weeks. Why..... Oh well. At least it gets better from now on. Speaking of the amount of episodes, are we still will get only 12 episodes? Or more? Because of how they split one ch into 2 ep like this and the previous episodes...? The lack of confirmation is killing me. :O |

Shiraitodai is still number 1 and the others members are probably very goods but Teru is so strong that even if she were playing in a team of beginner, she would most likely end up at the top. |

| Finally get to watch this T_T Underwater is so slow this week, but oh wellz. Didn't get to know Arata's play style, kinda sucky there... And Shizuno's trait... an optimistic idiot who never gives up... Though I also have to agree that it's a good comeback by her... but dealing into a 12000 hand during her dealer Phase is... wow... Teru's facade is... interesting, looking at Saki and Saki's flash back of Teru, she might be a very sociable person if it's outside of Mahjong... Then again, looking at how she talk with her teammate told me otherwise... Still think she's a cheerful one deep down though. Wahaha and... MOMO!!!!!!!!!! (Was her boob always that big?) |

| Arata's match was so short, I felt a bit cheated. No playing style revelations? Shizuno's match wasn't much of an improvement either, screentime-wise. So much for a survival celebration, the coach just rained on their parade. It was actually quite sad to see the other team's loss. Of course, crushing someone else's hopes and dreams as a stepping stone to victory in a tournament is unavoidable. Nice to see some of the Tsuruga girls again. And possibly some of the Kazekoshi girls too, if the preview is any indication. |
