I'm an anime only I have a few questions

first does Chong-in know jinwoo working for one of their mining contractors?

second how common is monster speaking human language in the red gate hunter park made a big deal about jinwoo talking to the ice slayer so is communicating between humans and monster common are park didn't know or is this something special

third what jinwoo job as a porter what he carrying in the backpack first aid stuff, mana potions or snacks? it seems dangerous as if the low ranking porter gets spooked and runs off they have to track them down also what a strike team letting an unknown tag along if he was a spy it be a gold chance to learn how the hunter guild strike team operates

I m just a bit confused about the monsters speaking in English, and the team not being surprised to understand their langage. I thought hunters didn t know monsters could talk so far? They don t explain it in the anime

Why is he still hiding his power like that I don't get it, starting to feel annoyed by it.
Also shouldn't she know who he is? There was the tenth ever awakening in Japan. The first one after hers and she has no idea who he is? Really?


Lot of things don't make sense, is this an anime thing?

First, no he doesn’t yet.

Second, actually very rare. Unfortunately they did skip one specific panel from manhwa where the humans were surprised when the orc talked their language.

Third, porter’s job is to carry supplies. Like you said, food, first aid just in case of healer was taken out and other things. In summary, Porters technically don’t do combat and carry supplies for the team.

Think of it as positions in rpg, the healer, the ranger, the mage and the supplier most of the time are in the back. However the supplier should be the weakest link in any team hence why most of the time you would put him in the very back to be safe and for emergencies use him to help the healer.

For the first question, you'll get an answer from the anime.

Second question, monsters can speak, they have their own language. Kargalgan is an exceptional magic user that's why he can translate his words into human language. But under normal circumstance why would a monster know the human language? There's no reason.

Third question, they don't have any secrets that's worth stealing. Strike teams are constantly changing, any former team member knows how they operate. The porter isn't part of the strike team, they always use someone different.
Why would a porter run off when he is the one who volunteered for the job? They skipped some dialogue, but they assures the porter guy that the only way he gets into trouble if the strike team gets wiped out.

@Yaggamy on the third question i just guess that a strike team would use skills or items that the guild didn't want other guilds to know whether to keep them from betting on gate that are difficult to conquer but very profitable after their team learn a good tactic makes the gate much easier for them or maybe they are using a shield that good but require rare or hard to get material and they don't want the material cost to spike from other guilds buying the same shield or material

This series has a lot more depth than what much of the forum commentary implies. I'm having a hard time waiting for new episodes. Gonna have to read the Manhwa/webtoon.
