The outcome was very predictable. The lack of any real mystery or suspense is killing my overall enjoyment of this show. From the time this all started I was saying the only person it could be is the guy they assaulted in the previous episode. This would be much better if they were detectives (even private detectives) rather than doctors. Kotori has had to use his Karate 3 times in 5 episodes, it's a bit much for a show about solving "mysteries". I can't take this shit seriously.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one that feels this way. Anything over 7 is way too high for this show to be rated.

t was a bit annoying how long it took them to realize who the killer was, but holy shit I am SO invested in this arc. This show is amazing when it comes to suspense. And I'm glad Kotori is getting so much screentime!!!!
I feel the complete opposite this show lacks any stakes or suspense.

Lighting a cig and throwing the match on the floor disturbs the crime scene lol

Rip the RX-8...its the one younger guy from the land who didn't want the grave to be messed with (I knew it)

Why does the biker keep scratching himself? Out of habit?

Poor Murato, pretty weird situation

What a way to end the episode damn. This case just took a turn for the worst. Guessing the source of the fire's related to those rash/burn marks on the body. Kotori made a reckless and dumb move by going after that guy alone and also taking a girl with him. Why didn't he contact the police when it was already an ongoing case is beyond me. Glad the inspector warned him, atleast someone has common sense here. Liking Mai even more, she's a biker and also knows how to defend herself, hella cool. That poor Mazda RX 8 though.

Pretty sure it's the same thing as the rash/burn marks shown on the old guy at the end there.

I would prefer the cases to remain more medical than police, but it happened anyway. Still, I enjoyed it since they weren't as predictable as the previous ones.

There were several deaths in this episode, and the saddest one was Takahashi's RX-8. However, he had his moment discovering the culprit with Mai's help (it seems that several doctors in this anime know martial arts).

The mystery continues, and because she is the main character, Takao must solve it. But I hope they drop the unrealistic elements and go back to medical-related cases, which was the main reason I started watching this: it's supposed to be a medical anime, not a police drama.
@Narizor This is how I feel about the show. It's still entertaining, but the pilot sets you up for medical drama, not Columbo.

Clearly the murderer is that guy who's a decendant of Enzo! I never liked how he acted so hostile, it's clearly him.

Edit: Nevermind! Is the curse real?

Also never write a review before you're done with the episode lol.

was a little disappointed by this one. Amok was barely in it. i still like the art and stuff and i want to see where it goes but this episode felt again like it was a mystery that was a little unusual but its totally that shady guy who was totally guilty and had a total motive to do it this time.

Wow. Well that was a terrifying end to the episode. Even his poor car got engulfed in flames 😭😭😭

A corpse in a coffin combusting mid-funeral was pretty wild

Then bro seeing his beloved RX-8 burst into flames was devastating

We are introduced to the 2nd doctor/nurse in this anime who knows martial arts

And to finish it off, the old man bursts into flames mid-operation

Pretty crazy episode to say the least. Obvious culprit was obvious, but Takao sensei still needs to get to the bottom of the real combusting humans.

Professor Aoi's death being more or less the same case as before, it may look like a case of fire through cigarettes, but it clearly shapes her body being combusted exact with the rest of her room unaffected, this spontaneous human combustion is a more serious problem than it looks, and Ameku won't back down from this challenge.

With Professor Murota giving Ameku all the help she needs to solve the Enzo Ashiya "curse", and the unfortunate reality that Professor Ikari Seimei succumbed to his injuries, the case has become a grim reality of a thousand-year curse not meant to be pried into in the first place. Even Takanashi got a moment of realization of the fire being more of a case than an actual curse, and the timer igniting arson forcing the police to intervene, there's clearly someone behind the heinous act.

Clearly, Takanashi's the next victim to be targeted with his Mazda RX-8 being detonated, as well as the threatening letter (which is just an obvious giveaway along with his Kotori nickname) and he soon realizes that the mysterious man in the full-face helmet is none other than Yuuta Ashiya himself, aided by Mai to restrain him to avoid any injuries, and more with Ameku being involved in the rather dangerous situation. And as if the case is resolved right then and there, Professor Murota himself is now at the point of grave illness feeling cold, and the human combustion really did happen with him.

This human combustion case is quite the spontaneity, is there a way to stop this madness?
