I love learning about Okinawan culture through this show, i mean its like a love letter to the island of Okinawa (makes sense since the anime is sort of about Okinawa.) That scene about having children because of that traditional Okinawan dance was amusing since it caused all three MC'S to start to imagine a Nakamura with children and then him not knowing how to teach them. It was cool to see the Okinawan food aswell and it was very funny to see Agena learn that Higa has a crush on Nakamura. Also that ending scene had me raging, i really did not want him to confess his feelings like that.

The topic of shisa being placed in front of houses and even on their rooftops, it's just like house guards in one way or another for Teru to understand more of the Okinawan culture, and Hina is easily the best person to do the tour guide for that. And like tradition, once the kachaashii Tooshin Dooi folk song came along, it's like a trance for all Okainawans being an inter-generational thing...and yet, there's both Teru and Hina thinking about their future family fantasies.

The Okainawan parlor where local food is sold, that's the "naughty" guilty pleasure for Hina and the rest, though Kana chalks up being so infatuated on Teru no thanks to Higa lols. One aspect of the living and breathing Okinawan culture is the Summer Eisaa dance festival held by the Gushikawa Youth Association, and there's no shortage of couples just like every festival, albeit Hina being the only one with a different dance of the Chondaraa, whose performer duties is the floor master organizer.

Teru being enthralled by the culture that he forgot to confess to Hina, maybe it's the sequence of events that spiralled him down the rabbit hole, but will he manage to bring his message through to her?

As Teruaki realized at the end of this episode that Kyan is really good at noticing things and reading the room, it got me thinking that she probably already knows that Higa is in love with him and is trying to get them together. Oh shit, Teruaki is about to confess. I started believing in the Kyan route, but I really want him to end up with Higa. I know that this show is not really about romance but I really want best girl to win if the other option is not interested in that anyway.

Also, Higa was so cute when she got embarrassed thinking about having children with Teruaki.

One more thing is that I really need to wash my eyes after that mess of CGI. Let’s try to forget about it.

Wtf was that animation during the eisaa dance lol. Was def cool to learn about that, the chondara and getting a taste of an Okinawan festival! It’s cool how similar it is to mainland Japan, but also how different it is. There’s a little bit of Pacific Islander vibe going on as well as SEAN flair. This shows doing a good job working as a tourism promo and definitely got me wanting to learn more about the Ryukyu islands

That Kana vision with she and Teeru having a kid should be the good ending of this series lmao. Just can not get with Kyan at all. Surely he’s not going to confess there with that cliffhanger tho, right???
@Marinate1016 Yeah unfortunately it would've taken a lot of pencil hours to draw that sequence so they opted for cgi because its quicker, easier and cheaper. I hated it as well but hey ho. If it means prioritising the budget for bigger, better scenes I'm all for it.
