| If anything this episode once again shows how much Oda dislikes his female characters. The three dudes save the ship with all three women on them, while they can only stand around in awe and be the damsels in distress. Even fucking Tashigi has to be saved by Koby of all people, Tashigi! And with that we say goodbye to One Piece for a while, hopefully it will return with much better quality production. |
| I love how Garp's lesson has parallels to the current situation. The old man (Garp) stays behind so that the baby (Koby) can live. |

| It was soo satisfying seeing Koby punch that hand away, all of his hard training paying off. Very doubtful Garp is dead at least. Solid episode. Now we wait half a year for One Piece to return! |

| Amazing episode this week. From the animation to the pacing, it was all done beautifully. Coby has come so far along since we met him in the first episode. Honesty Impact and the new generation are here to rule! And Garp despite being so injured, still prevails. Really love the small touches of Coby following in the footsteps of Garp and Aokiji and some of his flashbacks being taken straight from the old episodes. But Garp.. I'm worried about him. He almost seems like he is going to die with such a big ice sickle in his stomach and him being frozen completely. I sure am not ready to see that happen. By the time I watched this episode, I got the announcement of One Piece Fan Letter, Fishman remake and the 6-month-break of the anime until April 2025. And I couldn't be happier! Because, to me, it seems like they want to do this arc even more justice, and so when they return, they will return with a lot of bangers. |

| Sweet Koby/Garp episode, but no way I caught up with the series after like 8 years JUST BEFORE FIRST HIATUS EVER oh my god. Probably a good decision though, this series deserves better treatment, so many post time skip arcs were mid because of terrible pacing... |

Wow, this episode's direction was insane! The honesty punch and all of the build-up in this episode was crazy. What a good adaptation of the manga. The Garp ending was sad, AOKIJI WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!! See you all in April when the anime comes back! |
