Rengue is what I call an honest idiot. Too honest to the point he's an idiot. he knows nothing about politics or negotiation when he said they actually had 2000 I wanted to punch him the he tries to fault them for "lying in the first place," I screamed "dude that's not lying that's negotiating you never show all your cards right away!"

In the end, the negotiation with Shakuma went well, and thank goodness Licia handled it, foreseeing that Lenge is both arrogant and idiot. It's unfortunate that such a great leader like Couran has someone like Lenge as a successor, which is worrying since he would become the next emperor if Missian manages to gain independence. According to Ars, Lenge has potential, but after what he pulled, I doubt he will achieve anything significant unless he learns some serious lessons along the way.

if i was Ars after Renge clause my wife to start stripping for the Corrupt prime minster i either A have Charlotte turn into a charcoal briquette B just leaving him and made Couran go get him if he wants him C tell Coruan i will never swear loyal that mouth breathing moron so fix or replace him

what sad Renge seem to have good stat he just got nothing between his ears. To me if he become lord of Coruan he will be like Henry the 8th, Richard the 3rd, hilter, pol pot, mao or stalin and given the upheaval Couran would have suffered as Couran nor Lambeth are getting out of the coming conflicts un harmed he will destroy or set in motion the destruction of Coruan

I hate this character as much as Myne form Shield hero, Prince Zabune from In another world with my smartphone or Duke Vistall from Death march to the parallel world rhapsody

Licia planned this from the beginnning, and they did not pay a gold piece too much. (How would she have been able to buy the dress otherwise)

- She intentionally disclosed the 2000 number to both Rengue and Ars, which was not the real number they had.
- She negotiated with Shakuma as a sly fox, setting the price at 1000.
- Shakuma is aware she's a sly fox.
- Then Rengue went off as planned, disclosing the 2000 number, confirming Licia as the sly fox, causing Ars to beg to accept the 2000 number.
- Shakuma then tought he had the upper hand, and tried to get the maximum out of it.
- Licia used that weakness of Shakuma to play as if he was taking everything from them, down to their clothes, causing Shakuma to accept the deal.
- Shakuma now has gained some stuff for his own benefit, and has defeated and humiliated the sly fox from his point of view.
- What really happened is that Licia guaranteed that the support was there, with Shakuma no longer being a potential obstacle.

Ask yourself, if they only had 2000, how did they pay for the 500 in clothes and jewelry.

Licia decieved not only Shakuma but also Rengue and Ars.

Couran's son Rengue is like the living embodiment of 'Who let lil' bro into the squad". The brat needed a backhand across the face. He's going places and none of them are good.

Licia on the other hand was definitely amazing and a highlight of this episode. In more ways than one... Love how she knew that Rengue was gonna fuck up the negotiations.

That being said Ars is still as mediocre as always. Lil bro needs to stop saying "Ehhhh!" if he actually wants to be taken seriously. Hard to believe that he was a grown man at one point.

Well they made us hate Lord Courran's son, Rengue they did so by slapping us in the face with his obnoxious behavior and self-ignorant sabotaging. Licia giving the clothes off her back to recover was amazing.

Got some excellent points there, especially regarding Licia thinking ahead with Rengue opening his big mouth.

Regarding Licia "deceiving" Ars, I somewhat disagree since I figured that was her own money (or money from her family) that she has had. However, now that they're married I assume they will combine their assets but it probably hasn't been done yet.
