but also, they way they connected the virus and the machine children works very well for the anime, while I do think the children's death and Pascal's fate was done better in game, I do like that they had an actual reason for these changes here

| @bonnibelio_ Yeah I liked connecting the Resistance and Pascal's Village together bit as well, that was done really well, where in the game they both just end up getting overrun by the same feral machines. Overall the resistance's final moments were also really good, having to fight against their own infected comrades. |

| Ffs why did Lily have to send Devola and Popola away?? What's the point of keeping the healers safe if there is noone left to heal anymore??? If they had kept them around, they could have probably completed their clean up mission, without succumbing to the infection by getting healed immediately... and don't get me started on Pascal getting infected by that stupid child with it's dumb music box! I'm truly sad that Jackass; Pascal and Lily are dead now, but at the very least A2 finally revealed to Lily the name Rose gave to her. Truly bittersweet, that 2B's last message to 9S was calling him Nines and the last thing Lily said to A2 was calling her Freesia... both finally got what they wanted to hear, but not in the way they wanted to hear it... T^T |

| It has now come full circle with A2 having to kill Lily when she was the one who saved her back then. Almost everyone destroyed with A2 and 9s pretty much the only left now but with both of them heading to the same destination and with 9s mental state things doesn't look well. 2B finally called him Nines. |

| These characters are truly living in the worst timeline possible. Three episodes left and practically 95% of the cast is now dead. And to think the fact of A2 deciding to help the Machines was what caused all this tragedy... damn. |
| Resistance getting the short end of the stick every fucking time. Oh well, though I'm glad how we've expanded so much over them and these characters in the adaptation. Now into the last stretch of the story, and tbh, the tragedy train hasn't stopped and it's just going to make more victims. |

| What an episode! And the previous one was already kino. After Pascal's Village, the Resistance was also wiped out, just by a dangerous android virus, not bombs or blasts. Lily died alongside her comrades. ๐ญ |

| I was skeptical of the departure from the game's approach to Pascal, but I found it to still largely capture the themes similarly. Watching the destruction of the peaceful village was easily among the most hollowing moments. The one thing I wish they'd kept though was: Bringing everything full circle with Lily & Freesia was gutting. No more idealism & optimism to save comrades. |
