| I hate both opening and ending, and the character designs of the protagonists bother me a bit for how childish they seem. Like they were in school and few scenes later one of them is driving a car and they look practically the same. Also there was like no visual indication of the timeskip. But other than that, it was a pretty interesting beginning. |
| Kadode's voice sounds really muffled in some scenes, it's kinda hard to hear what she's saying :(. |

This show has artistic and creative expressions about people's visions or apprehensions about the future. It is meant to be compared to our real fears and apprehensions in the real world. All art is meant to drive discussion about the world around us. Leave the "this isn't the place for politics" stuff out lol |

| This actually describes Episode 0 ETA: Without intending to, what I thought was Episode 1 turned out to be Episode 0, so I had to put my original post into spoilers. Darn! And that's why Episode 2 seems confusing. |

| After my disastrous mistake of mistaking Episode 0 for Episode 1, the real Episode 1 seems relatively boring. Also, Kadode and Onta's designs aren't exactly apoealing if you sre only used to high school students who are attractive and some of these high school girls would be your waifu. Their design, though they seem more like grade schoolers, are what high school students appear like to adult eyes. I'm surprised that despite the alien invasion, the œconomy still functions. I don't know what direction this will take because it seems like spice of life whereas I expected it to be action when I made the mistake of thinking Episode 0 is Episode 1. I hope it picks up the pace soon enough. |
| I'm having a "District 9" vibes here. And it feels like this is more of a philosophical thing rather than an actual alien invasion. But we'll see. The characters are also great, Ouran is kinda stoic and cool while Kadode is more of a realist and composed person. Looking forward for their growth and development as a character. I'll try to read the manga after I finish this show, I heard the art style is phenomenon. btw. Isobeyan - Doraemon Parody lmao... |
