without spoilers i hope thats true and doesnt go as i fear it does. im desperate for yuri so i cant really be picky on how it goes but id like just a sweet diabetes yuri show.
actually how i wish this show would go from now is that in the next 2 eps max himari would actually end up dating yori and the rest of the show is them dating and himari realizing her love more and more with no drama

| Yuri is My Job! poster spotted. Easily one of the worst shows I watched last year so I really hope that's not some kind of weird omen regarding the future development of this story. That said, it was an okay episode overall. I'm liking Momoka so far and it seems this Aki girl is finally gonna do something regarding her crush after who knows how many years of being in spectator mode. |

| This show would be so much better if Yori and Himari weren't the main characters. This really just feels like Bloom into You with a different coat of paint. The sudden feelings between them just feels like lazy writing, which was one of the worst things about BIY as well. There's plenty of cuteness and comedy but having some semblance of a plot would be nice. I know when Shiho comes into the picture things will get a little better but I doubt they'll get to her arc so I'm not getting my hopes up. Still, this is a serviceable romcom so far, nothing really special though. @SouthRzVa Yuri is My Job! poster spotted. Yuri is My Job suffered from the same thing a lot of yuri suffer from, spending too much time on introduction and fluff in order to set up the drama that comes later... like, way later. All the interesting stuff happens after the anime cuts the story off. |

| while this episode improved from the previous problems, there is a major issue with the scene where Aki confronts Himari about loving Yori romantically. considering that this scene was PINDROP SILENT until the confession, they completely ruined the tension they built up by leaving it in a cliffhanger and play the ending credits. (mind you, THE ENDING SONG IS A HAPPY SONG.) I understand that it's for budget reasons, but if you're trying to save costs and build tension, then you might as well remove that scene entirely and move it to the next when Aki says "i'm home." You want your audience to leave a lasting impression of discomfort and worry for the character, AND THEY SHOULD NEVER FORGET THAT. |

| That was an improvement. Three episodes of nothing much out of the two MCs was a bit hollow, we got some nice development here to fill in the gaps |

| ouh the cliffhanger at the end O.o from the previous eps i could tell this situation was kinda wearing on miki which influenced what she said when she ran into himari in this ep. im rllyyyyy excited for the next ep :D also momoka is cute :3 |

| They can recognize when they're testing limits, and they keep the bubbly atmosphere up strong. Another episode of fluffy GL, sign me up. Here we have the band back in full swing.. I'll admit there's something wrong with the whole studio sequence. There's movement but it's so constrained, like each of the girls are tied to chairs while they magically make instruments play. It's a shame, really. Half the joy of performances is seeing the girls belt out the beat. Like the performance in the first ep. But instead we get white halves and some smiles. Surely, they wouldn't repeat that another episode. Outside of the studio disaster.. well it gets a slight smile for the "Yuri Is My Job" poster in the Anime Clubroom (which I have yet to see). Let this anime cook. And by cook, literally with the cooking club deal. Still love the dynamic between the girls so that never changed. Just a hair concerned about if these visuals are going to deep dive. |
