| Even if its boring and i feel jaded already with this nonstop past story. But damn this still hits hard. Especially since the one whose talking the sad shit is the only cute girl for the entire this past story. I, just, can't.... Awakening process done. Helck intention of why he's going to the demon realm kinda cleared too even if its mean so fucking late. Might be the time to end this past and move on to the present, where, Vamilio stop the sus and become more sweet to Helck bro then ever. Alicia needs a sub, right? Man can only hope.... |

| Indeed, that was a sad farewell to Alicia before the awakening. It was revealed to us how the humans go through that process although for some reason Raphaed didn't. What 's up with that, does it have something to do with royalty status? Does he have an item that prevents that process? Is he actually a hero in disguise? In any case, with that we now know why Helck had been smiling so much in the first part of the show despite of what was happening around him. |

She was wearing a mask and they didn’t show her face, but the hairstyle was pretty similar. @Klad when i mean dead, i mean like they used to be,you are probably right but if she is fighting with the ennemies, it's because she is not herself anymore and the same thing happened to the rest of the group, this what i meant by we don't see them in the presents, but you are right to precise that they are not really dead...

| Helck, now known as the Hero Slayer, he's being chased by mercenaries wanting a bounty on his head, as the hope that his friends are still alive and how he got dragged to the abandoned mine for recuperation with help from Alicia and the others, it's a bitter pill to swallow. At the same time, Alicia is still alive, but treated as a traitor of the kingdom. The executioner, feeling too scared to take the blow, senses an aura so deep and dark, it can only come from Helck himself. Helck saving Alicia and wanting to go to the demon realm, any enemies he would encounter now, he would not be of any mercy. But the warning from Raphaed of the awakening that Helck and friends failed to stop Mikaros's plan at the time, the snow is the catalyst that will turn the entire kingdom upside down into awakened soldiers. At the very least, Helck doesn't want Alicia to turn into one, but she has already succumbed to the magic, and the one thing linking them will be smiles on their faces. Helck's tragic past of escaping the human realm to the demon realm, on full display of why he wants the human realm to be decimated. |

| Helck's perpetual smile during the earlier episodes suddenly hits a whole lot different. It's kinda horrifying how everyone under the effect of the snow spell turns into the same exact musclehead abomination regardless of what their original body shape was. |
| This was terrifying and gut wrenching. Genuinely one of the worst things I have ever seen in anime. I hope Helck can save them in the end. (for the inevitable love triangle drama with "Anne") |

| now helck's hatred towards human is justified. they are the scummest of all scums. that raphaed dude needs to be a dealt a punishment that won't render him dead or revived; maybe caught somewhere in a never ending loop. |

| Well that was a bummer. Would like to think that at least Alicia and the other more self aware awakened can be saved and returned to their former selves (even if not all of humanity as the drones can be) but I get the feeling that the goal will be freeing them by killing them instead. Story looks to be taking the darker path, I prefer happy endings though so I will hope for the former option. |

| Damn, that was hardcore. I think this must be the end of the flashbacks now that we know the full backstory of what happened to Helck, his brother and all his friends. Hopefully the back half of the series will be him getting his revenge! While it has been a long series of flashbacks, I think they have actually added to the story and totally change the vibe of all of the times we'd seen Helck before with his happy smile and cheerful demeanour. |
