He was the problem, not her. He is now gradually learning and finding new opportunities and hopefully we'll see him start gaining his confidence since he is actually, as we see many others notice about him, a great guy. Each episode makes more and more clear that ignoring Natsukawa has opened endless posibilities to Wataru. I understand they will end together, but this situations should prove him that she was limiting him, not the other way around. Also, Kei and him are the two with better chemistry, I don't understand why they aren't the default option. I like Kei, too, but they give me that friend, best buds, only vibe which is nice to see with no drama involved between the two rather than seeing the female friend attached to the female character as the connecting point and not really established with the male MC like in many others. Too bad, though, Kei so far has a good personality match and disposition as well it feels like, at least in some regards. Unrelated, this episode felt oddly filler / pointless. I got vibes that new girl wont be important but we'll see. If she is it turns out okay, but if not it feels like a waste of an episode for such a minor fleeting moment with a limited episode count. I'm quite confused by some of the reactions. Granted, if this was a comment about her in the manga that would be another story entirely as she is utterly brutal if not abusive (fortunately, the adaptation is much improved over the early parts of the manga I read which was awful). Sure, she doesn't like him (at least not yet) but she is working on figuring out her feelings. You guys can't expect a girl to just be immediately responsive and fawn over confessing their love for a guy they don't yet actually love, especially considering how the MC was behaving before.Ok can we talk about how trash the FMC is. Bro she ain't worth it, new girl best girl, rizz her up. I can buy the part about him being limited by his obsesion, but the show tries to imply how Natsukawa wants things to return to that "normal", which would drag Wataru down again. You say it feels like filler, but this new girl has made more to boost his confidence than all the heroines (outside of Kei, but she goes on her own) combined, so we could consider this a pivotal moment for him. The one that the fight with his sister should have been but they treated as absolutely nothing with 0 values nor lessons learned. |

Wow this episode feels like fresh air compared to previous ones. The new girl is a good addition to the show, I hope she is a recurring character |

Giving up/uncrushing on Natsukawa was probably one of the best decision Sajo made in his life. |

WHOA! Forget about Aika! The number one girl Sasaki just made her appearance! Kaede is also great, too bad she is the sister ;/ |
(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ ちゅっ ちゅっ キス (´。✪ω✪。`) I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;) |

ngl, the best part of this show are the OP and ED. i can't remember what happened in this episode. the characters are so generic and forgettable. honestly, feel like ashida kei has better chemistry with sajou than natsukawa. in fact, does ashida kei like sajou? |

Sajo's sister, in my opinion is the very best girl in the series. And, our new side character (I doubt she will appear much, more of a stepping stone for our ML and FL to finally get ahold of the relationship) is third best after Kei. If it was a Seinen genre, I'd just go with the college student Sasaki and make Natsukawa regret, or Sajo's sister, if it were the questionable genre. 😂 |

She is stumbling trying to figure how she feels out and also return to having the main character around her, but ideally in a healthier (though, overall, she probably doesn't know what type of relationship yet) manner.Markis86 said: CorbanEsp said: Each episode makes more and more clear that ignoring Natsukawa has opened endless posibilities to Wataru. The one that the fight with his sister should have been but they treated as absolutely nothing with 0 values nor lessons learned. I don't think the new episode is bad, but it feels like filler where this random girl from a college whom only really knows him at his current very temporary summer job will probably fall off the story when summer ends or is about over, soon. I could be wrong, mind you, and she could play a bigger role sticking around but I didn't get those vibes which, with the very limited episode count (less issue in a more detailed any length light novel, for instance) feels a bit wasteful for an entire episode to be slowly dedicated to when they could of sped up the pacing while including her. The episode, itself, I like as well as the new girl. I didn't get the vibe that she will inspire his confidence though, tbh, but I could be proven wrong. This is the other reason it felt a bit pointless because she didn't instill any real changes in him, yet, such as confidence or anything. This could totally change, though, if she ends up playing a bigger part down the road or even if she is only there briefly during later episodes so my take on her value may end up wrong (to be seen). The fight with the sister leaves me a bit mixed. It fleshes out his background, confidence issues, feelings and family relationship some. However, it doesn't actually change anything and just acts as an extension of various background story / character elements. He isn't improving or changing because of it which is a bit unfortunate, not even in a gradual way... though the whole student council / moral's committee aspects IF anything comes from them could be part of that route that invokes such a change eventually (remains to be seen). I still appreciated the section but wish they did more with it like, myself. SHlROHA said: Not necessarily. Keep in mind 2 years of annoyance with the main character creating a sort of metaphorical barrier to progress and being partially / very annoying to her and the overall state of their relationship can readily result in a deadlocked progress and ignoring her feelings. Even the main character only after taking a step back begin to realize the impact on her and himself he was having all that time and why it was not good. There is also the saying that you don't know what you had until you lose it. Overall, while she might have actually liked him around which the other classmates seemed to believe to be the case as well, she likely didn't really understand or properly recognize the value of having him around in her life due to the unhealthy state of how the relationship was engaged. What they need going forward is to both understand their feelings and value and reach a healthier relationship state than the prior tag along pestering sidekick stalker type situation from before. Kei seems to have the best understanding of things between the two while the other two have various misgivings and issues like confidence problems, not understanding one's feelings, etc.Markis86 said: Figuring out her feelings? If you mean better to engage in a relationship with someone who will cherish him is a reference to the new girl, Fuuka Sasaki, then keep in mind they're also no where near progressed to such a point. They're merely brand new acquaintances and she has some interest in him due to both her unfamiliarity with boys, his nice actions towards her brother and her, she feels more comfortable around him, and potentially a developing but not yet there crush. That said, if this wasn't an anime I'd be willing to bet her odds of landing a good and happy relationship with MC are better than Aika's, at least for now, but this neglects the fact that the MC actually does really like Aika so even if he might be somewhat interested in the nice pretty girl or whatever showing interest in him he might not actually be willing to date her (yet) and will need time for his feelings to change or sort them and make a decision. Tsundere are fine in real life. Aika hasn't actually done anything wrong or mean, and she isn't even the typical full tsundere. She just knows she wants him around somewhat but doesn't quite get her feelings or have the confidence to speak to him properly. She isn't being mean really or doing anything bad or hurtful to his confidence. In fact, in real life most people don't have actual ability to show humility or honesty with their feelings in situations that make them nervous, or often with issues like making a mistake. |

College girl is a nice adding to the story. But i hope they dont make the story too complex coz i hate romcom with complex stories that you have to pay attention to. I hope they just make the new girl as a way to make the main girl jealous and nothing else. |

It’s downright impressive how bad this show has become. From a 7/10 first episode to literally everything else being a 5/10 AT BEST. Final score will probably be a 3/10 or a 4/10. It’s truly just such an tremendously shitty adaptation. To the point I don’t remember having this much boredom watching an anime in a long time. The second half of this episode was the most enjoyable part of the anime in a long fucking time. Not that I care when I already know that the protag won’t hook up with the OBVIOUSLY better girl that just fell from heaven right in from of him. You ask if that’s a spoiler? Not it ain’t. It’s just painfully obvious if you’ve watched more than two RomComs in your life. Dumbass asshole protag. See you all next week. |

Common sense. The voice of reason in the sea of shit. Aika Natsukawa- Mc stalked her last few years. He negatively affected her interactions with other people. New girl- Mc saved her brother from bullies. Do you see the difference? When you help somebody that person is nice for you. When you stalk somebody that person calls the police. |

Wataru now facing Rin, Mita and Yuyu as the likable boy in school, Rin wants him to run the Morals and Discipline Committee after he's gone, though he's just winning Yuyu's heart right now against Rin and Mita's grateful regards for her overcoming her trauma. Even then, Natsukawa doesn't find that her styling Wataru's hair along the corridors isn't embarrassing enough, then I'm not sure what is. Summer break comes in, though Wataru gets the ire from being the popular guy that Sasaki chooses to pair himself up with Natsukawa, being the bro for Tabata having cram school. Moreover, Ashida senses discontentment from Wataru not fighting for his position to help for the summer break in the school visit tour, though Wataru's pretty much out of his league, and out of sight. The end of the 1st trimester with a commemoration parfait for Ashiya and Natsukawa, that's appropriate... Back to Wataru's part-time job, he saves a kid from getting bullied by middle schoolers, and this Kota Sasaki turns out to have the fine beauty of a woman as his older sister, and he might've just socred himself a better girl than Natsukawa. Kaede is her usual at home, though Wataru getting questioned that he got invited to Rin's Morals and Discipline Committee, it's a two-way battle for Claudine and Natsukawa for the Student Council position. The new girl comes along again, though she feels like a childiish character that is all the more elegant in maturity and purity, that Wataru's honestly taken aback. Holy wowsers, Wataru has scored the new girl soundly! How will Natsukawa react to this? |

Good chapter in general, I like that the quality of the animation has returned since the last chapter was poorly animated, the drop in quality was a lot, so it is good that in this chapter the quality increases again, the new waifu is great !!! By the way, what she meant about her sister during the closing ceremony, is that she looked "like she didn't break a plate", and not like the "bitch" she is with him at home. hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 |

For a second there, Kei looked genuinely depressed about the fact that she wouldn't see Sajou for a while. I get it though, the way they act around each other seems way more fun and natural than with any other classmates. Still, this anime is terrible at making its direction clear, so maybe that was just me seeing things. |
