The story is really weak in this movie. The characters are also poorly written which makes it so that when the action stops and a meaningful and slow moment comes on screen the movie fails to build up any engagement. There's almost no character development and the roster of side characters is also wasted despite having some potential. The plot is also very average and the entire little mermaid comparison just gives everything away. The bubbles have no explanation about how they work or what caused them to appear and that would've been okay but then they cause the most random things like Black Holes and evil red bubble and they never explained why the Bubble girl is being called back.
The only aspects where the movie works is on a technical one. The animation and soundtrack are just superb and one thing that makes the animation more engaging than other movies is that when the action hits the camera (dk how to put it better) moves along with the characters and around them. The soundtrack is also very good and gave me chills tbh.

Overall it's an enjoyable time that you won't regret but somewhere it is kinda disappointing
I gave the movie a 7 cause it is a good movie just going on the action and music but it definitely could've been written better
