What a bunch of first rate assholes!!! Luou was so courageous! I was prepared to dislike him, but there’s no way I can after that beautiful display of talent.

Junpei thought he had friends. Seems they just liked him for his soccer skills.

It seriously was a hard episode to watch T^T People can be so cruel... I agree that this episode could be pretty triggering, and I wasn't expecting the bullying scenes either. I wasn't expecting it to be a subject in this show. Definitely taking a break before I watch the next episodes, this one left a bad taste in my mouth :/

And I get why Junpei acted the way he did, but it's still hard to not feel frustrated and disappointed in him. Honestly though, I don't care about his character right now. (And personally, I did not like the whole stocking on his entire head thing).

Anyway, I hope the next episode has more of a focus on Luou, I'd rather get to know more about his character. I like him the most so far. (I also like the teacher).

It's not shounen so I don't really understand how people were expecting Junpei to suddenly become a superhero saviour. And why should he bother? He met the kid twice and he was hostile towards him, and now he has to babysit him and lose his cool kid rank? Also Miyako is so damn unfair wanting to use Junpei to make Ruou's life better. Junpei doesn't owe her shit. I don't even like Junpei but this is bullshit. And by the way it was Ruou's own decision to come to school, he knew this was coming.
Don't read further if bullying is a sensitive topic for you. gonna explain a bit from my own experience being an occasional bully in the past.
+1 Exactly my thoughts.

@Sorvarin Junpei doesn't owe him anything, but it's still hard to watch someone being bullied that badly. If they were just making fun of him, that's one thing. Though they were physically bullying him and forced him in a skirt while embarrassing the poor kid.

It's realistic, but it certainly doesn't make Junpei likable.

Luou was the cool and manly one, Jumpei's just some lame-ass scardy cat lol And impulsive too, cutting off his hair when he should know male ballet dancers often have long hair lol

This episode was incredible, especially in showcasing Junpei's evolution and how it explores the meaning of being masculine and great.
