Super Cub has the same super relaxing vibes, but relies less on comedy and the character designs are much tamer compared to Yuru Camp. Definitely give it a watch; in my opinion, the directors arguably made something close to a slice-of-life masterpiece, but sadly it went under the radar this Spring 2021. |

Broderoi said: the first of two, I added to my plan to watch list. And the last two I will check it and consider to enter my watch list.I’d say my top recommendations of a similar style would be Girls Last Tour, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Made, Machikado Mazoku, and Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle. While Girls Last Tour is a little more serious at times, I would say you can’t go wrong with any of these. Thanks for your suggestion. I appreciate it |

Do you have any other iyashikei anime recommendation? I recommend Natsume Yuujinchou. It's a long running series with more than 5 or 6 seasons and has supernatural (yokai) themes centered around the protagonist, Natsume. There are sad episodes, but when I watched those I always feel better after. I'd say it's not a series where cute girls do cute things, but it does well to be an iyashikei series in its own way. A remarkable thing with Natsume Yuujinchou for me is that I always feel sleepy when watching 2 or more episodes, and the same was true for my sister, lol! I don't think it's boring though, it's just very relaxing in its own way. |

But, your explanation make me to consider it again to watch. Are all of seasons the natsume yuujinchou as good as the first season? Do you recommend to watch all seasons of natsume yuujinchou? Animation-wise it gets noticeably better per season. Definitely recommend you to watch all seasons if you're going to, because the show slowly introduces new characters that will reappear later. The reappearance of other characters alone and how they interact with Natsume made the show better and more enjoyable for me in the later seasons. There are also short arcs in the later seasons, but the format is mostly episodic. Natsume Yuujinchou has the shoujo tag, but that's mainly because of the character design and art style. There's no romance whatsoever, but the show explores friendship well as Natsume gradually makes more friends. The drama aspect mostly comes with the stories of the yokai, but there is also good (healthy and not forced) drama between Natsume and the people around him. As for Mushishi, I haven't watched it yet, but it's been in my watchlist for a long time. I know from research that Mushishi is also episodic, but more of a seinen anime. I looove seinen anime. |

rahez said: Start with Bakemonogatari, and I’d say give it three episodes. Keep in mind that it does get better (Monogatari 2nd season is my only 10/10 other than Origination), but it keeps relatively the same tone. If you decide that Monogatari isn’t for you, I’d recommend checking out Kizu since it’s the only part of the franchise w a different tone and style—I wasn’t really a fan of both the movies and the LN versions, but a lot of people love it (don’t start w Kizu if you plan to watch the whole show).sonicflash703 said: Where do I start if I want to check bakemonogatari is for me or not? The last five episodes of Aria’s last season, the Origination are, by a long shot, the most affecting, satisfying, and memorable episodes I’ve seen. I’m not one to cry (the only times I’ve ever cried to an anime before were to Furuba the Final and Bakemonogatari on rewatch), but the last five episodes had me crying more than 20 separate times with it’s one-of-kind balance between heartwarming and bittersweet (and its absolute banger of a soundtrack). sonicflash703 said: Okay, slow paced is not problem for me if it will be good in the end. It’s a CGDCT iyashikei that reminiscent to Yuru Camp makes the viewer feel the authors love for the place/country. There’s no anime or manga that has affected the same way Aria has, and I highly highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates some SoL. May I know what is CGDCT? I just knew "Iyashikei" last night. With Aria, just keep in mind the beginning is exceptionally slow paced. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since I found that it helped neatly establish the cast and the setting, but it can be a bit mundane if you aren’t in the right mood. Do you have any recommendation besides Aria? I would be very grateful if you don't mind I’d recommend A Place Further than the Universe and Girls Last Tour as well. The plot twist of Furuba final season is great. While I although I have guessed Akito's gender. While the series have supernatural genre, But I still love it. Is Bakemonogatari have too supernatural genre? At first, I love bunny girl senpai and I checked the recommendation some people recommend bakemonogatari. I already added A Place Further than the Universe and Girls Last Tour to my plan to watch list Yeah, Bakemonogatari is IMO a far better show than Bunny Girl Senpai. It has even more quirky visuals, a more heartwarming romance between the main couple, more engaging dialogue, some extremely intriguing storytelling, and really well-written characterization. It’s basically a Bunny Girl Senpai with more creative freedom and a quirkier cast, but also more fan service and a bit off-putting at times Better I start from Bakemonogatari or the prequel? Okay, I'll consider clannad too to enter to my watch list. Clannad itself is a meh first season IMO, but the second season has some incredible highs |

Its anything calm and relaxing to watch. Laid back camp, k-on, encouragement of climb and senko san are prime examples. Lesser examples might be non non biyori, Girls last tour or mushishi. You can look up other iyashikei on google. But out of these anime (other than yuru camp) my personal reccomendations are mushishi, senko san, k-on and girls last tour. All of them are 8s or 9s in my book. And yes, usagi drop is fantastic. If you want something like usagi drop with less wholesome and more comedy try hinamatsuri. |
