| man oh man i'm so excited for this i've read the this prequel before it was such an amazing and pleasant read it was short and brief tho . this adaptation im 100% gonna be a movie because there isn't many chapters for a 12 episode Anime but for the people that doesn't know anything about it i'll say this you're all in for a halla great time watching this i gave that short novel a 10/10 rating when i read it and it deserves every bit of that score . |

| It is actually sequel not prequel, just because most of the story in the arc is happening in the past, it's Miyuki reminiscing it. That's first, secondly even if anime wouldn't show it as it was in novel as Miyuki reminiscing (which I doubt they will do) it still should be listed as sequel. There is a reason it was in volume 8th, not 1st, 0 or seperate novel. So listing it as prequel might ruin someone's viewing exoiriance. |

They usually have pretty good production values vs tv or ova which can be kinda dubious or inconsistent at times if it's not done by a competent studio. |

| Finally we'll get to see an adolescent Tatsuya on a rampage...animated in Full HD ! In all seriousness, I'm glad they decided to animate Volume 8, I was disappointed at first when Mahouka S1 and S2 didn't adapt it because it's an extremely important plot point of the series, now people will get to see Tatsuya and Miyuki's past, their mom (And another important character) and what led to Tatsuya becoming who he is and why Miyuki is currently a Siscon. |
