| I've never instant barbarian'ed alone for an anime, but the build up to when Ghyslaine came in... oh my god I exploded and continued to do so well after the anime ended. It was directed so cleanly and emotionally hyped, I can't give it enough praise. Despite skipping over some details, I'd say trade off well worth what they could fit into a single episode. So long as the anime captures the main points of the story, I'm fine with it. Extra details are a plus, of course, but only if it doesn't sacrifice flow and main points. |

| With this episode, it is Rudy's first steps into the world outside the rural premises of his home village/town. Already he is exposed to the social standards, customs, and darker mishaps and conflict of the world outside his family residence. This is why Paul did what he did in order to stop Rudy and Sylphiette to become too codependent on each other, especially the former. We are introduced to a new character, Eris, obviously of the tsundere type. However, it's not your generic one-dimensional sort of tsundere, it's one where she's violent because of how she naturally is and not some shoehorned bullshit and her gradual development will even more natural and not something where she'd suddenly turn 180. That's why I don't feel even half as annoyed, if at all, with her presentation. The animation in this episode during the action scenes was really grade-A stuff, especially with the magic and Ghislaine's special sound-barrier breaking move (I really liked how it added the effects of something akin to a sonic boom). Really looking forward to this show every week, even though I'm not the best when it comes to discussing it in better words on a live stream where I can't do huge edits and stuff lul. |

| Best part of the episode was Eris beating Rudeus like the shit he is. It was so good. The episode was actually ok, I'm surprised. And not because animation and visuals were really good, but because there were almost none of Rudeus disgusting inner monologues for once. If only it could continue this way, it would be perfect. |
| INCREDIBLE Lol Paul Rudy tames the delinquent girl Eris! The fight is so freaking cool. Ghislaine is freaking badass, that sword slash is so powerful and beautiful, I got goosebumps. Rudy lands his first job, hope that Eris will listen from now on. |

Right from our Rudy's troubles in getting along with Eris, him faking an abduction of the two of them, finding out they had been double-tricked and that it was in fact an actual abduction, and finally realizing the importance of righteous sacrifice in order to gain someone's trust and boy did the animation during the fight scenes feel dope AF!! Also Ghislaine's got the body to be a master of both worlds, first in battle and the second.. u know what I mean..( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) lol |

| Damn, things really got out of hand there for a bit! No wonder why the old man never managed to beat Ghyslaine (except for in the bed xD). Animation is still glorious but the notch up during the battle was a special treat. Also, that fireworks! Ojou-sama's first impression though, that's violent innocent alright. I'm curious if there'll be other traitors seeking revenge in the coming episodes though, not hard to imagine many others cross with the spoiler behaviour after all. |

| One of the best things about Rudeus is that he doesn't try to overwhelm with absurdly impressive displays of magic and power. He uses simple magic, but oh boy does he fight dirty with it. It has been fun and games for Rudeus up until now but it seem to dawn on him that he can really die in this world and if he were to die a second time what's going to happen. |

| Fantastic episode. Paul is such a womanizer, to the point where he's boasting about it to his own son that he has only beaten Ghislaine in bed. I have troubles imagining that though, how can you win from that woman in bed. The introduction of Eris, I have heard a couple of things about her and honestly, yeah she's a stuck up brat. However the vibes she's giving is on par with some of the best Tsundere's I have seen in Anime. Can't wait to see the development she's getting. Now if she'll be better than Roxy, time will tell.. Now that little trick Rudy had in mind, escalated pretty horrific. Eris actually got beaten up pretty badly in that cell, that it already didn't feel like it was just a trick. Ghislaine was awesome here, the way she took out those bandits was insane and animation looked great. Rudy had a really shocked look on his face when he saw the beheaded person in front of him. | It was pretty obvious that things wouldn't go as planned but Rudy handled things pretty well, considering the circumstances. That part with Ghislaine was so badass. Also, looks like Rudy might be traumatized after seeing those dudes get killed with their blood spilling out. He's getting his first taste of the world outside of his peaceful upbringing. |

| "Money cannot buy DERE", that line brought a smile to my face. You can take the otaku out of the real world, but you cannot take the otakuness out of him regardless of where he is. And boy does Eris seem to be very essence of tsundereness. I am enjoying this a lot more than I expected. Other isekai's have huge casts with tons and tons of dialogue that do not seem to lead anywhere. This show keeps everything tight and in scope. Makes a for a more pleasant and relaxed watch. |
