It was nice to see how everything turned out.
I feel like the rest of the series was paced well, but the very end seemed to be a little quick paced. Still, the ending was good, but I feel like it could've been expanded just a tad more.
At least we know how everyone is doing. It certainly turned out differently than what I thought it would based on early chapters. Overall, it was a fun read and pretty hard to stop reading.

great read! good story and while I have some issues with the sequence of events, I enjoyed my time reading. felt like an old tale or old folktale the whole way through which was refreshing and I loved how it didn't reveal much on how it was gonna conclude. overall an awesome time with this one!

At first I was unhappy to see there was an epilogue after the previous chapter ended by saying that the character’s stories should be private HOWEVER, seeing each of the survivors thriving in their own way was the happiest ending I could have wished for. In particular, Shion becoming the over protective father figure to Nurugai made me overjoyed. “All men are beasts”. That’s right, Shion, no one is worthy of your precious daughter’s hand in marriage!

Jigokuraku was by no means a unique or spectacular series but it’s one that had several memorable moments and a handful of impressive characters which will stick with me for some time.

. . . I wish Fuchi didn’t have to die. Him and Gantetsusai running the clinic/dojo together would have been a perfect ending.

Really liked the ending. To each person, their own way of living life I guess? Seeing Gabimaru relaxing and all lazy just makes me happy. He's been through so much and is finally living a peaceful life with his wife.

Indeed a great ending to a great manga.

I have no words, the story is simply amazing, it explores the concepts of good and evil, righteousness and loyalty, and sentiments to order.
like the criminals might have been sinners yet they are capable of change, the paradox of justice, law, and order to what is right,, the tensen have appeared as only as arrogant and condescending. However, some tensen still have emotions, and what Rien’s drive to do what she did, or fu JA’s protectiveness of his partner that he emposed that the world is the one that is crazy and not him, considering that he is like the only one of the created tensen to have moral reasoning, he could have been a good guy should he been guided more by mei, and love the premise that they are now in the modern era. there are a ton of things I want to say about this manga, but I'm going to just summarise it. it’s a great story with excellent character development and in-depth personalities, and the premise of the time is set during warring states or feudal Japan, which makes it more enchanting, the dialogues really hit me in the heart, and I teared up to some.

Shout out to the author, loved this work of yours, and also shout out to the translators who translated this wonderful work, the editors, illustrators, and others. ..though my only issue is the lacking screen time for Gabi’s wife You. though still great. and seems like Gabi’s gon have the possibility of having 2 mistresses XD.

His wife looks like she’ll allow it.

This turned out to be an excellent series, it might even be superior to the other new shonen out there. Something that sets it apart from its peers is the power explanations, they are simple and easy to understand, the author understood that complex power systems don't mean that they are good so he made it easy to assimilate and it turned out great.

Overall this was a fun read and will stand out in my head as a good series among the thousand I will consume.

I’m happy we got to see into their lives. Honestly I wish Gabimaru actually woke up and we got to see him and his wife interacting with everyone together but.. we saw him finally able to live a somewhat peaceful and normal life!! I’m happy for honestly all of them :)

I quite enjoyed this story especially since I kinda expected some of the sidecharacters to die (like Tamiya, Yuzuriha, Shion). Not sure what to think of Chobei being revived at the end but what I quite liked about him and his brother is that there was never any nonsense drama pitting the two against each other, just strong brother relationship.  Compared to some others, I did like the end fight with Gabimaru not dealing the final blow with his hesistation making you realise he would just like Rien do everything for his loved one fitting his character development as former cold assassin.

This chapter was sweet. Nice to see how everyone's doing.

Except I'm still not happy about Gabi and Yui's reunion unfortunately. It's what I've been looking forward to this whole time.

It might've been just me, but I really wanted to see a beautiful, emotional reunion. Where they're pouring their hearts out, and Gabimaru is telling her how much he loves her and how much he missed her. Seeing him bawl his eyes out like he's never done before!!

Maybe my expectations were too high idk. Apparently showing them reunite is "tacky"

I was ready to cry man, damn

My 3 babies, Yui, Sagiri, and Yuzuriha are together, I love it. Too bad Mei wasn't there too, but I'm really glad she's alive. I completely forgot that the Tensens can be revived.

I also love the fact how Gabimaru or whatever his new name is, can sleep peacefully now and doesn't have the bloodlust or awareness that he had before. It just shows that he changed completely and is living a wonderful, peaceful, and happy life with Yui. This is an 8/10 for me.

Such a well-written story with a pleasing ending. I'd reread this again one day. The characters were well-developed. Stray cat to house cat Gabimaru is such a mood.

Also, another random final thought: Gabimaru is kind of like the Odysseus of Hell's Paradise. "Getting back to my wife" determination and power was OP for him too!
