Never thought I'd learn that Noelle was still wetting the bed way past 10. The more you know.

Even for a filler, it still entertained me. Pierrot has been doing a good job with BC lately.
Come on man, where is that Noragami season 3 masterpiece. We want it, Bones!

This is a different kind of ep compared to those before it, well of course it is, it's a filler after all! It's good to hear more of the Vermillions' past including Fuegeleon's and Mereoleona's relationship with Sister Theresa. No clue why only Asta and Noelle is the only ones or why they're brought there in the first place to celebrate together but I digress...

It's amusing how siblings fights within the Vermillion family comes even to ones considered to be always peaceful as is the case for Mimosa VS Kirsch and even those who are middle-aged, 30 years old magic knight captains such as Fuegeleon and Mereoleona. What a lively royal family.

It's an Ok ep

This mission seems really "important" Ms. Theresa is back and it's her birthday good to see her alive and well

The way Mereoleona and Fuegoleon "entertained" the kids have gone wrong and Mimosa had enough of her brother telling it in front of Asta as well lol, Gauche was there too, She told some of the siblings' past as well for a change and it's quite interesting what they were like when they were just kids but nothing changed too much

Asta got slapped by Noelle again, And this party turned into a sibling fight this didn't look good but Ms. Theresa stopped the two to prevent causing more trouble seems she's still as badass as ever.

Gauche transforming into a kid to see Marie hits a new level of creepy in my opinion. Funny to hear childhood stories on the Vermillion siblings especially Fueggy and Mereo.

Ahhh siblings fighting with each other, how nostalgic! Was nice that they heard that Fuegoleon didn't had control over his power while Mereoleona just easily gets worked up as children, haha.

Yeah these fillers are pretty fun imo, and the next one seems to be even better. I just wonder how long this period of relative relaxation is going to last before we start to get down to business again. Not complaining whatsoever; heck if it still continues to be this enjoyable I wouldn't mind the rest of the series being filler. But eventually of course we will have to get real again, I'm just curious as to when that will be.

On a somewhat of a side note, I've just been thinking, comparing this to My Hero Academia, the other insanely popular shounen that I thought nothing of at first, but came to love. I've given their seasons different scores ranging from 6-8, and overall I'd probably give the series as a whole an 8; at LEAST a 7 for sure. Right for Black Clover on the other hand, I'm still feeling just a 7/10 overall. Still good, decent, and solid enough, but it's high moments for me are still rather kind of few and far between considering its runtime of 170 episodes. My Hero for me got my adrenaline rushing on several occasions- Black Clover is simply an enjoyable watch for me.

My Hero had Bones, and it goes to show with consistent and impressive production quality throughout, even in the latest two seasons where people consider it to have downgraded. And I love the characters and their interactions, and how they use their quirks together in combos. Black Clover is not lacking in characters and story whatsoever; and in fact I think it's safe to say that most people would consider it to have far more potential for greatness than the source material of My Hero- but I personally don't feel that potential is met. It's good enough for what it is, but I believe it could be so much more. The characters are fun and fleshed out enough for the most part, but I believe they could go so much deeper. The story, focused on Asta and his journey to become the wizard king through his unrelenting nature is a simple but absolutely solid backbone of a premise. But like the characters, I think the story could become so much more rather than your typical shounen get-strong and defeat-bad-guy type of formula.

Again, not complaining, for what it is, I think it certainly is good enough and am very much enjoying it. I just think it could be so much more. Or maybe I'm speaking too soon and this anime still has a few tricks up its sleeve in these later episodes. Sorry for rambling on, I don't expect anyone to have read this anyway, I just like to put my thoughts down somewhere for the odd soul to potentially read it. Anyway, on to the next episode. MIXER??

Mereoleona’s party at Vermillion House was a great way to celebrate Sister Theresa’s anniversary as a nun. I loved the surprise reveal of Gauche disguised as a child to visit Marie classic Gauche! Fuegoleon and Mereoleona’s playful bickering brought so much humor, especially with the embarrassing childhood stories. It was refreshing to see Mimosa and Kirsch duel to settle their grievances, and Gauche jumping in to protect Marie showed his softer side. Theresa's ability to discipline the captains, despite her age, was truly impressive

Wow, this episode was really, really bad. I don't hate it, but wow.

And just now I searched, this was also complete filler, as it was the previous 5 episodes, which explain why the steep dip in pacing and storywise quality.
