I had high expectations about this manga, for real. I won't give it a score lower than 6, because the rest of arcs were pretty good, but it won't get more than a 7 from me. And Isabella's death. Award for the most anti-climactic death in recent times. They literally forgot about her death in one chapter, even though she has been taking care of all the children for so long. She should have survived. I agree with all you said. Sadly this was a disappointing chapter to many tpn fans, including the more hardcore and positive ones, like me. I'm just not that disappointed yet because I still think there is a catch, otherwise the author wouldn't let it clear through Ray and Norman's questioning that he knows it sounds easy. So I'm holding out my tongue until the end of this. Tpn might end in chapter 180 (making volume 20 have ten chapters) or extend 10 more chapters (which makes one more volume) focusing on the human world. I was surprised so many want it to end soon, I much more prefer a human world mini arc in hopes that they fix the mess that GF Raid arc was. As of now, I'll wait. We still don't know if the end will turn out satisfactory or not. In any case I can't wait for the next chapter. And, even if it ends on a disappointing note, pretty sure that I'd give tpn a high score because I really enjoyed everything except for the GF Raid Arc. |

| Well. My forehead still stings as of typing this because of how hard I slapped it in disbelief after I found out that there was no absolutely no catch in store for Emma for making the Promise. It was weird for Phil to be the one to ask about the possible consequences of her deal with the devil but at least they're all aware that things being this easy is stupid as hell even if the human world isn't perfect. Seeing how the Demon King essentially gave Emma reparations for the torment she and her ancestors have experienced and how they were transported to the US of A, I have an inkling on what their treatment there would be like and I don't like where I think it's going at all... |
