| I'm glad I missed out this movie, it made me remember how wonderful was Natsume's world once again. It was so upsetting for Reiko to wish for anyone not to remember her, it would be so nice to see a new series focusing on her life. |
| Totally forgot this. Wanted to watch the stuff between season 6 and 7 (two movies if I looked it up correctly this being one of them) before the season start of S7. It is an 8/10 for me - not the usual 9. A bit lengthy. Had a lot of good moments. I like the compact stories in each of the episodes of the series. Still need to watch that other movie that seems to be a lot shorter according to the database. (Still a bit more than a normal special/OVA episode.) For some reason some of the scenes again made me almost cry hard (well a bit tears where there at least but I tried to supress it lol). Though logically thinking about that scenes it did not seem that emotional. Like ... when Natsume met Yorie and he picked up the fruit for her and it was similar to Reiko picking up the bell. I mean ... that was not really sad at all. But when you know that would go to happen (that it was the girl years later as an old woman) ... felt like anticipating sad stuff that would come later lol. (I mean we know the anime and that it is good at creating emotional scenes from the series already.) Liked the story with the son. And with Reiko and how she was distand to others and seemed weird (cause she could see Yokai) - while Natsume still manages ... trying to behave normally and to interact with other people (A nice and recurring theme in the series.) |
